I am 7 months pregnant now and I feel so stressed because I can't raise the baby alone I have no one to talk to I thought I had friends but naah all they tell me to do is abort the baby I can't have an abortion ,for me abortion is not good wheather its weeks that's still an abortion. Just wish I can find someone who is able to adopt my child because I know there so many women out there who want kids than me aborting an innocent child

In sorry that your going through a difficult time I really think you should reconsider adoption I used to work for a private adoption agency and we would always place in really good homes you could do an open adoption which we let you know how the child is doing. Lutheran Social Services of The South has a good adoption program. I hope this helps.

Hey, so sorry to hear what you're going through. What I'm going through is much easier than what you've described but I still feel like I'm losing my mind so I can only imagine how difficult this must. I'm older and married but I let my family convince me to keep a pregnancy I was seriously considering terminating. Now I'm six months and instead of "getting used to it" or bonding or getting excited I'm just having more and more severe consequences to my mental health. At 6 months, we've missed the deadline for abortions and trying to induce a miscarriage at this point would do serious harm to you and/or the baby. I agree that while it may be difficult to go through with adoption, it is actually not at all a bad option. Adoption has come a long way, with open adoption you can still have a role in the baby's life to the extent you feel comfortable. You can work with an agency to pick out the parents you feel comfortable with and negotiate how much you want to see the child, some birth mothers stay involved as friends of the family and visit as frequently as once a month; or you could just visit on holidays etc., or just have them send you pics, updates etc. if you prefer to be a bit less hands on. There are still options and selecting a good family for your baby is nothing to feel guilty about, it's a perfectly respectable thing to do and may be what's right for your situation.

Spiffchick you should be around 7 months from your last post anf the majority of response that you get are not helpful. Im not going to tell you your feelings are wrong because i dont know your full circumstances but i will say this. Everyones experience is different every pregnancy is different and overall could be scary. I dont know how your support system is but the stress you have alone could harm your unborn. Im 6 months and hes my first and yes im terrified about a lot but this child your carrying Youll never know a love like what you have for those two and its rare . also you could really hurt yourself with miscarrying and abortions many side affects to your body and you say you already have one stay healthy for them and yourself. You will be ok no matter what obstacle you go through at the end you will be ok. If you ever need to talk. Stranger but im here for you.

Maybe they did consider it... I'm not almost 5 months AND WAS ON BIRTH CONTROL!!!! so if your only going to be judgemental maybe you should keep your mouth shut...

You are horrible for judging these people so harshley,it's a medically known fact that birth control can fail if used with antibiotics or perhaps it was defective from the start.And while I agree adoption is a wonderful option,it may be even more traumatic for the women to go through than an abortion.Please think about those awful things you said,& think about if you were on the other side of the issue & had people calling you a murderer,I've had one abortion & while it was the hardest decision of my life to date,I know for me it was the right decision for me,& I was 21 weeks,so about where she is.Go ahead,call me a murderer,my unborn child is safe with a god I believe loves & forgave me.
