I've had an awful itch/something stuck in my throat feeling for 3 weeks now. My doctor gave me antibiotics and cough meds - started them today to see if they'll work. Gonna get some Tea Tree Oil tomorrow!

I don't eat bananas and I have this problem
I have constant tickle in my throat that makes my eye water my nose run and ear tickle all at same time so annoying and sometimes can happen 20 times a day
Holy c**p. You took a ton of things for a cough. It sounds exhausting.
Sorry I'm responding so late. Just saw this. I think it has to do with an allergic reaction and a bronchospasm. If it ever happens again, try to think about if you just ate something or drank something you might be allergic to. It almost feels like you can't breathe in without choking because of the tickle. All signs of an allergic reaction.
Try a Zinc Lozenge! i have same issue for over a week and already took zpak. Had one cherry flavored zinc lozenge and already coughing is quieted!!! woo hoo!!!
reduce eating foods that contain zinc and calcium for a while. happened to me a month ago but i had to keep track of what i was eating then reduced it. These supplements also helped me a lot Forever immunoblend, forever lycium plus , forever absorbent c,and forever bee honey. i lick the honey all the time , helped me a lot. within 4 days the itch/cough/watery eye reduced and it only happend once a day then later dissappered. I have the same problem and had it for a couple of years. Went to Pulmo since then and did many tests. He says it is allergy. He has recently referred me to ENT who also said it is allergy after checking my throat, nose, and ears. I am set to do blood testing work related to allergies.

Thank you for this !! I've been reading everyone's forum and this was the most helpful. I was recently diagnosed with acid reflux , prescribed omerazole and like you said the itch and cough and vomit I'd "back with avengeance ".
This massive cough is also brought on by allergies. It's a deadly (not really) combo. Well at least that's how I feel.
Our diet is definitely a major contribution to reflux. When I changed my diet and ate much healthier along with a good night sleep is the only way it worked we just have to stick to it. Now I know this and I plan to
