i have not tried desinex but I will. Thanks I have had this same itch for many many years on my scrotum and penis. I did not begin treating it until a couple years ago. One thing I noticed is that as I gained weight, the symptoms became worse. I weigh 240 now and symptoms are bad. Also when I drink alcohol the symptoms become much worse. Also I have gotten itch and moisture relief from using a talc mix product I get at Walmart called Monkeybutt. It is inexpensive. It is found in the pharmacy area. I have found itch relief from using women's products Vagisil and Monistat 7. So obviously I am treating it as a yeast/thrash/candidas problem but I have not been officially diagnosed. The female Dermatologist and her assistants we're not interested in helping me. Acted like they did not want to get near me..... cannot blame them. I think symptoms worse when drinking alcohol because the alcohol knocks immune system down. Plus I like wine and wine had a lot of sugar for an infection to feed on.

It could be candida, control your diet-no sugar and high fat food items.
Use candida-b cream for a few days only as prolonged used could be dangerous.
There after eat raw garlic and apply its fine paste on the affected area.
It shall be cured. :)

I get this once and a while and I figured out how to make it go away. It is a fungus and it stuck in the pores of your scrotum . Well at least that's what I think. Once I learned that. I thought of what could get this bacteria to go away. So one day I tried hand sanitizer on the infected area. (Warning) this is extremely painful with a burning sensation that last about 3 - 5 mins . But the itching stops and you can apply more sanitizer with Less burn after the initial sensation. Please don't hate me. This really worked for me.

Was wondering if you're still around and wanted to drop an email. I'm going through exactly this and I'm wondering if your wife has a thick white discharge when you have sex with her. I'm trying to narrow it down.

The same exact issue happened to me but i used Lamisil foot spray on my scrotum thinking that I had some type of foot fungus, what a mistake it was. It has now been 2.5 years and I am not sure but I would like to think that it is improving, I have been to many Doctors and has applied many medications.

There was a guest poster on this topic who said his sticky scrotum issue was cured when he stopped microwaving foods in plastic trays & containers. Apparently he had the condition for 6 months and he noticed it went away while he was away from home on a week of vacation, then it returned when he got back home. Upon trying to figure out the reason for the difference, he said realized he was not microwaving food in plastic containers during vacation as he frequently did at home. So he switch from plastic containers to microwaving in glass bowls and his problem was cured...yes CURED!

I have the same moist/warm/sticky scrotum issue that started a month ago. After reading that guy's post, I realized that started a meal delivery service on April 7th (meals delivered in plastic trays that I microwave) and I first noticed my condition around April 12th, only five days after starting to microwave food in plastic trays twice a day. The poster said he was using #5 plastic containers, so I checked my meal delivery containers, and sure enough, they also have #5 stamped into the plastic. Most of the research I found online says #5 plastics are considered safe, but some websites say it may not be so safe when microwaved.

Anyway, I'm hoping maybe this could explain why none of the antifungal creams, pills, and home remedies have worked for any of us, and this also might explain why all doctors are clueless about this widespread scrotum problem. I just "paused" my meal delivery service and I'm going to avoid eating or drinking from any heated plastics for at least two weeks and see if there's any improvement in my scrotum symptoms. That would be so fricken weird if that's what's causing the problem, at least for some of us. I'll be sure to report back in two or three weeks. If anyone else wants to join me in this experiment, please tell us how often you consume food or drink from heated plastics, and report back to this thread after you eliminate the plastics for at least two weeks.

You may have an allergy to the Ingredients which has a negative effect on your scrotum try that for a bit and if there is a difference positively you need to not use gels
