I've had this problem for about 10 years.
I can't find a cure, but I can control it. I've heard it all... form of eczema, form of psoriasis, etc.
I use Dermarest's psoriasis medicated lotion on my hands during the day. At night, I focus on my fingers and put it on before I go to sleep when there is a 'breakout'. If the peeling on my fingers gets really bad I will take an intense hand moisture treatment like Mary Kay's hand softner and put aloe gloves on them. When I wake up, my hands and fingers are all better.

It happens so many times in a year. One time my doctor even threatened he is going to cut my toes off if I get infected again. That made me stop seeing him and went to another doctor but nothing changes.
In 1998 I went to see a Chinese Medical Practitioner in Kuala Lumpur. First he treated me with acupuncture then gave me some really foul smelling herbs capsules which I had to take twice a day for 2 weeks. The herbs taste so awful I always choke trying to stop myself from vomiting. But I don't get any outbreak for more than 4 years after that.
When the symptoms comes back, I tried normal doctors again but the cream they gave only works a few months before the blisters come back. I have thought about trying the chinese herbs again but not sure if I can stand the torture of trying to swallow the medicines.

I have had this issue for 9 years. Small bumps on the meaty part of my palms. They itch, then pop, then peel. Now mine is severe because they hurt so bad I can't use my hands at some points. I have been to the dermatoligists, and several drs.
NOW FOR THE GOOD NEWS..... Try CLARINEX. This is an allergy medication. I had other allergies and the dr prescribed it for me and low and behold my hands cleared up completely!!!! I was taking it on a daily basis and never had a break out.
Now for the BAD News..... My insurance quit covering the medication, so needless to say I am in constant breakout now, it NEVER GOES AWAY.
If your insurance covers it, give it a shot, it is the only brand that has Desloratadine....
