Sounds like a tick. Bite a friend of mine is going threw the same thing have you seen a dermatologists? Blood work a good primary. Cortisone 10. Get a scrip & ointment. Works tens times better. Antibiotics
My son has the same thing the Dr says its erysipelas he seems to be doing fine now that he is getting treated for that and not all this other stuff other doctors said it was
This has been happening to me for 5 years. It's so bad I often think of ending my life. This is a daily problem for me and is making my life a living hell. Doctors don't know either. My ANA test was positive and lupus came bad a no and RA came back a no. Plz someone help me!!
Something you can live with?! Are you crazy mine is so bad I can't walk or use my hands I feel useless and some days wish I were dead! NO meds work!! Not even prednisone.
I have almost the exact same rash/issues. Mine has been happening for 2 1/2 years. All blood tests are fine, nothing is showing up. It looks just like ring worms and they started on my side, then back, front, inside arms, inside legs, back of legs, swelling of anything that has had pressure. It's the most frustrating thing! Did you ever figure out what or why you had or have this?
I have this. I've had it for years. I have no idea what it is but I can tell you where I got it. I'm a mechanic and in 03 I was working on a trailer that was used to haul frozen chicken. I got some of the defrosted water in a cut on my arm and I've had this ever since.
It will go away for a while. It will come back. It likes to attack when I don't get enough sleep when I work to much or when I'm stressed.or for no reason at all sometimes.
Longest out brake so far has been a year and 3 months.
No doctor has a clue. I've spent a lot of time and money trying to get a correct diagnosis.
Every dr said something different but not one had a clue. Except for this one guy who said it's some kind of virus. And i just have to ride it out.
By the way. Change your shoes a lot. Never use the same ones more the 2 days. And never ever walk barefoot.

I know this thread is super old, but you have the textbook symptoms of lupus. I only say that because I came here in a search for the symptoms as well and it always points toward lupus. The butterfly rash on the face is the tell tale sign. I hope you've been relieved.
Well folks it sounds like you need to go on a veggie based high micronutrient diet....
It could be the makings of the autoimmune disease known as...Urticarial vasculitis

I have been suffering with terrible debilitating rashes for the last 3 years, constantly changing diets, searching for answers. I happened on this blog somehow and found your response and so much of what I am seeing corresponds to what you are saying. Thank you so much for taking the time to post about DIETARY nickel allergy. Wow! Hope this is finally the diagnosis so I can go about trying to remedy the situation as best I can. Thank You! Naomi OH
I have a similar situation and upon further assessment, I figured it was hives since I have all the symptoms. I get red bumps all over my inside arms, inside thighs, my buttocks down to my back thighs, shoulder blades area and on my back rib cages, however, never on my genital areas, which is good. It comes on mostly during the night after I rest. It itch and it get worse when I scratch. it goes away when I'm not thinking about it, but over all it's random as far as the degree and timing. I pretty much eliminated all the possible food causes because it happens even when I don't eat. I think it could be micro dust mites. Regardless, it goes away pretty quickly, around 5 minutes, when I drink two teaspoon (2 tsp) of Benadryl cough liquid, the one with antihistamine. I'm still struggling with it and it has been 2 months!
I too am having this same problem...mine started off with circular red itchy tingly marks on my hands and feet and swelling till I could not close my hands and my toes looked huge...the itching was intolerable...any kind of pressure against my skin would cause more swelling redness and intense itching on my body and even my ears and around my eyes. My hands have been flaking and peeling this last week and itchy bumps. It all feels like I was bitten and then as I scratched it would burn and swell. My doctors has given me 4 different diagnoses and I finally have a dermatologist apt next Mon...hopefully they will get to the bottom of this
I get that!! I’ve been going on 3 years now and it’s really discouraging!!
