I have been dealing with a similiar itching for the past 3 weeks. It itches strongly and it keeps showing up on different areas of my sin. Whati it is, I have no idea.
when i smoke crystal meth,i always notice redness around my nose, feet and hands.and my body start to itch maybe because of the drug.i am also frequently urinating.and i can see clear white particles in my urine.my back is aching and i notice i'm losing a lot of hair.
are these the side effects of smoking meth?my friends are smoking also but i never see these effects on them.i did urinalysis and cbc and i dont have any problem at all.please help me to find an answer why im experiencing these things.
Actually, Miss Healty, there are researchers that say that with propper prolonged organic vegan juice diet including vitamin supliments the body can heal itself of many many diseases if they are caught early enough. Most medical doctors are trained to dismis this as quackery since it would make most non-trauma doctors unneccesary. Google Dr. Max Gerson or gerson therapy to read more for yourself. So, what I really mean to say is yes, diet can certainly help, but it may be other toxins or stresses in your envoronment that started the problem besides food. I hope this is more encouraging then anything

I have the same thing. No positives to any allergies. When I was about 21 or so, I got the hives from antibiotics. I am 44 now and I never take them for any reason but about August of last year, broke out the same way as with the antibiotics. Started prednisone. Did not help at all. Dermatology, nothing. Already said allergy came back negative. (and my health insurance seems to not cover any of these tests). Tried a clean diet and it helped but did not cure. Antihistimines do nothing. And I don't want to become immune to them! If I have them one one knee, they show up on the other. I also have had problems with heartburn now.
The sucky part of this is I am perfectly healthy. My bloods are good, cholesterol perfect, blood pressure on the lower end. Even had an ultrasound on my organs and they are perfectly healthy.
Tried new soap, shampoo, and laundry detergent.
Whoever finds out what this is and how to cure it will be my hero.

OMG! It all makes sense now. I have a similar history to what you are describing all the way down to the childhood bronquitis and the alcohol. This may also explain why I was so prompt to getting yeast infections in my early 20s. The pregnacies have made it worst by all means. I thought I was going nuts.... Thank you for posting this
My husband has this problem every 2 -3 MONTHS.He gets hives that cover his whole body.The itching is unbearable and last for about an hour,then when that goes away he gets an upset stomach along with swelling (usually in his hands).Seems it only happens at night but the swelling stays a lot longer.Nothing helps, the Doctor could only find he was allergic to horses.The Doctors are at a loss and so are we .Has anyone heard of anything like this.(We have no horses)
Recently I had to start taking a 2nd drug for blood pressure...and have some symptoms similiar...also have gurd and try not to take as it makes me anemic vitamin D and B...wondering if I want to take meds...I'm 74 and some meds scare the hell out of me...
Wow, a lot of people with the same problem as me. My problems started a couple months ago. I started having a rash on the palms of my hands. I used a drill to do some work and my hands swelled up so bad that I had to go to the emergency room. Any type of pressure to my hands or back causing extreme swelling. Pregnisone clears it up, but it comes back. Recently, I have getting large golf ball sized lumps on my shoulders that stay for about a day and go away. My doctors have no clue. Would love to know what is going on.
i too get the swelling if leaning against something to long or carring a bad on my shoulder, swelling and itching. have you figure out what it is yet?
My mom is suffering of the same symptoms right now and they also prescribed prednisone. No one has been able to tell her what it is, but I think it is spreading and the medicine isn't necessarily curing it but ameliorating that symptoms. I'm hoping they figure out what it is so that it can be dealt with properly.
I'm wondering if the person that originally posted ever figured out what it was (I wasn't able to read through the whole thread). I did see people mention things such as Non Hodgkins Lymphoma and unknowns. I originally thought maybe it could be diabetes (my mom's mother has it) or something to do with the liver (not sure where I got that from, but I was just thinking), but again, they haven't mentioned anything of the sort. I also think the doctor's should be doing more tests, but we'll see.
it is a reation to histamine! your boddy is fighting against whatever it takes as an enemy. sometimes due to common allergies, reaction to meds or whatever. i have been on zertec for three years after many years of hives to hives from exercise that makes me hot, showers that are warming than cold,and sun. this is after every type doctor on the planet and no answers finally solved that problem with zertec. then had reation to predizone that introduced me to this all over burning itchy rash/hives. my latest bout started after steroids shot in neck rear and epidural in neck. doctors always give steroid shots for this and i wonder if any one else ever gets it from these shots besides me. i only know of one person personally. help if you are one. doctors think it is miracle drug and hate it when they have to believe that is the cause of this most hateful rash!
Check your liver and seek a gastronologists and oncologist for some testing or scans to make sure everything is ok, because my mom is suffering from liver cancer and chronic viral hepatitis B, which she is constantly itching with blotchy red patches and benadryl does not help at all for itching, they usually give her hydroxyzine to relieve the itching. it helps. also the swelling from her feet and hands are slowly going down. i hope this helps. Hi i was reading this forum yesterday before i went to the doctors and ive experienced all of these symptoms. The first time i wqs in hospital for a week and they said it was a viral infection but yesterday a doctor diqgnosed me with Steven Johnson syndrome but a minor form of it also known as erythema multiforme. Tryasking your doc about it hope.it helps
