I have the same problem as well and have had it for many years. This may seem odd and I am quite embarassed to post this, but when my labia is stretched out, both the larger and smaller ones, there are little bumps inside the skin. I've seen other posts, but these bumps don't appear to be popping like zits, they are just always there. When the skin is relaxed you don't really see it, but when it's taut it's pretty obvious.
I have been like this for many years, and was always concerned about it. I tried asking my mom when I was younger, but she just blew me off (we don't have the best relationship).
Now, though, I have my first serious boyfriend and I'm really nervous about having him see it at some point in the future.
Please, please, please tell me if those bumps are normal or if I should have them checked out.
They are never bigger than a millimeter but there are lots of them, under my skin, a white-pink color. They look kind of hard. I've tried to pop them, but it's painful and I couldn't, so I never tried it again.

dear "guest" posting on 10/20/09 yeah this is kind of late! don't worry i have the same exact problem. my mom is a doctor and when i told her about it, she inspected it and said it was completely normal in women. some women have differences in what their labia skin looks like, and i also told my mom about the bumps i had, she said nothing was fine and it was considerably normal. don't be embarassed, we're all girls here! one girl to another, it's fine :)

omg im soo happy i just read these because my situation is almost exactly the same except its not just one its both. but its not painful at all. i have to go in and get a pap smear done and im scared to death that the doctors gonna thin im a w**** or something, but im 16 and have been dating my boyfriend for quit some time now and hes never said anything about it. how akward was it when you got your pap smear done? does anyone know what percentage of people have larger labias?%-)

I dont understand what the problem is as a lot of guys love long labia because they can suck on them.
The only thing you can have done is your labia surgically trimmed but would you want to put yourself through that and the pain that goes with it?

Hi its nothing to be embarrassed or ashamed of to have a labia thats a different colour or even thats is long and sticks out further than most.
Everyone is different in there own way and body features please dont feel you need to change it because you think a guy won't like it as a guy will love you for you not how your vagina looks :-)
