I had my surgery maybe 4 days ago. I also had a hematoma. I am healing well and very happy that I did my research on my doctor & the surgery went well. But I'm still in a lot of pain...and the itching is crazy!!! Does anyone know how to make this stop without effecting my healing process?

Don't base your decision On other peoples bad were good experiences. Your research, find a very good doctor, look into it until your brain hurts! !! and only then make a decision whether you want to go forward with this or not!
Best of luck!

I hope you are consulting with a good attorney re: your botched labialplasty before the
statue of limitations runs out. I too had what was called labia hypertrophy and suffered
a botched labialplasty in 1971. I consulted several attorneys in the years afterward but it
never got to trial because of my lack of funds. Believe me this surgery is "sexual suicide"
for a woman.

I too had this surgery in 1971 for a condition called labia hypertrophy. The surgery was a
nightmare. The surgeon amputated practically all of my labia minora. He prescribed no
pain pills or antibiotics post surgery. I eventually saw some attorneys re: this malpractice but
my case exceeded the statute of limitations in CA. Functionally I know labial reduction
greatly decreases sexual response and satisfaction.

Did you start the support group. I am 20 years post labiaplasty nightmare. Only now trying to get it fixed. I've researched surgeons ever since. I would love to hear from others.

I would be very interested in a support group myself. Perhaps we can create one?

I would be very interested in a support group. I have a botched labiaplasty 20 years ago and now am planning to travel to CA for a revision alone, pretty concerned. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone else.

Yes I have and have severe Vaginal burning a lot, heard about labia stem cells grafted from your own fat that worked for a lady before. Looking for the surgeon to help me?

I had labiaplasty 1 year ago. Still burn vaginally a lot. Reading about acupuncture that helps for pain . Also family doctor that deals with women after breast mastectomy . He used fat grafting for recovery of numbness and loss of sensation . He injected fat into this other ladies labia minora instead of labia majora at her request. Her labia minora had been amputated . So fat grafting to scar tissue was all dr could do. But after fat injections doctor created bump area , so called labia, it looks great. After 4 months whole area has sexual sensation. Stem cells from your fat can heal your scars. I am pain free now she said. My original scars now look like small labia minora . Small but they are there! The whole area began to have sensation ! This is long term treatment but it works! Trust me she said !

I had the same thing happen to me . the surgeon removed all my labia . I researched labia stretching and found
Its also a African practice called elongtation .
Basically with my fingers i pulled and stretched the skin of my labia over a period of time to make them bigger and my skin started to expand and grow.
It did take time i spent 2-3 hours per day on each to see results .
Even though mine were totally amputed i restored my labia via stretching them .
this took me much more time as I hardly had any skin to begin with . i pulled on the lining of the skin where it was cut off. It took me 2years to fully restore my labia skin . it was a lot of work but worth it as I not only regrew back my labia skin I got back sensitivity as well.

I work in the profession and I have a friend who had this done and I have to say that the psychological damage, not to mention the physical, can be insurmountable.

LABIA STRECTCHING - it will make the skin expand and grow . if done frequently

Yes many people I know have stretched them out to make them bigger .
Just research labia stretching you will find some sites
It's also a African practice called elongation
You can research that too.
Some women use weights with clips to hang down to stretch them out
But for me I used my fingers to pull as mine were non existent and had to start from the lining where it was cut off . just hold between your fingers and pull basically. for weights you got to have a bit of labia already there to clip onto them personally the best way is to use your fingers.
Few hours on each per day
You will notice a difference
Especially if you take pics per month to see your progress as they get bigger, because like I said it does take time took me two years as I had nothing there only the lining where it was cut off. Now got my labias back 100% . worked . with skin if being pulled and manipulated new skin cells will form . a lot of men restore their foreskin after circumcision via using the same method tugging . so they would tug for hours a day depending on the guy it could take up to 6months to four years to restore the foreskin and all men report increased sensitivity and comfort regained.
Like I said it takes commitment consistency and good technique . for example if you have have more skin cut off near the entrance of the vagina spend more time there so you can even out your shape . when you first start stretching because its "fresh skin " it hasnt been pulled on yet it may get a bit red and sore but that only because its the first time you pulled on it .rest it for A DAY then continue .your skin will be rested and used to being streched and there will be no soreness going forward .going forward make sure you stretch everyday . if you stop stretching the skin for more then three days and you start again you will be sore again because the skin has relaxed and becomes fresh skin again . so once you start you cant stop keep going the more you stretch the more your skin is used to it and pain free. Just first day it gets a little sore so start off slow only stretch for half hour on each then gradually increase your time . good luck all the best hun .

Just wondering if a support group has been set up? Going through issues myself now (a wedge splitting) after having this procedure done 7 years ago. Anyone else experienced something like this happening?
