hi guys...i found this thread through google search.i live with my sister and her son(my nephew)im extremely involved with his upbringing:bathtime, feedings, babysitting.i have no desire to have my own but i get this internal "yearning" when i see him or hug him.like i wanna hug him and never let go. im telling all this to make my point: ive started to lactate (even though ive never been pregnant). i was told it is a biological response to a motherly feeling he makes me experience.ive gone to doc and ruled out all medical issues.so i am just enjoying watching my bodys reaction to a beautiful experience, even though it is wasted on me! lol its a very cool thing to watch your body do what it is supposed to do!
A recurring concern among the posts in this thread is cancer.
How many of our womenfolk know if their breasts are dense or fatty? This is a huge factor in whether or not their mammograms can be read correctly.
In this article, Dr. Deborah Rhodes discusses MBI, a new technology to improve the odds that cancer, if present in a dense breast, will be discovered EARLY.
Click on the video in the article to watch her outstanding 20 minute lecture at one of the TEDTalks

On another subject, a lady friend of mine has asked me to try to locate an endocrinologist, ideally in London, who might be sympathetic to a couple wherein the female would like to induce lactation.

all my hormone levels are just fine. as i just got a call from my doctor. who is now looking into my kidneys, and still says stress and many other things may be the possibility.
SOME ONE PLEASE HELP ME FIGURE OUT WHAT IS GOING ON :( im lactating, but the thing is... i had an IUD put in shortly after i giving birth to my second child who is now 6.. my IUD came out a year before schedule, i bled for 3 months non stop. that was 3 years ago! ever since then i have had an unregular cycle, n when "aunt flow" does come around i bleed very heavily for a week and a half. anyways... in that 3 years not once have i had a lactating problem nor have i gotten pregnant.. now all a sudden im lactating!!! what could it be? after 3 years of unprotected sex with my husband and having a bad expierance with the IUD.. is it possible my lactating is brought on from being pregnant? or could it be the stress of being a mother of a 6 and 7 year old?
now i should mention that, i smoke marijuana almost on a daily basis to deal with the aches and pain, and 2 just simply relax.. could these have effect on the reason im lactating or am i just trying to find other reasons for it, other than the fact that i could be pregnant?
any imformation or comments at this point could be very helpful and comforting, thank you! :)

Don't speak unless you know what you are talking about please -.-
Has she had someone suckling on her breasts for an extended period of time? Ask her about her boyfriend. I imagine that even if they are not engaged in sexual intercourse, he is probably spending a lot of time sucking on her nipples and more than likely massaging the breasts also.. Some guys do it in order to have sexual gratification without the chance of getting a girl pregnant. I would think that that if this is the case, then her "milk coming in" is an even greater turn on for him, which will lead to an even more aggressive appetite for more of the same.
THANK YOU doctor. I almost died laughing at the "endocrinologist (brain doc)" comment. Lord have mercy.
can we meet??
