I am considering doing the lifestyle lift, I would leave the UK and go to USA for a few days to have the procedure done. Any advise on the subject is welcome positive or negative.
Trust me, the Lifestyle Lift is a total scam. It lasted about 2 months & costs about $4,000.
They make you sign a release saying that you will not sue them.
I went to see a" REAL" Board certified plastic surgeon 8 months after my surgery to see if this Doctor could do corrective surgery on me & fix my scars & my disfigured ear. When I told the Doctor I wanted to contact a lawyer, I was told by this respected Harvard Graduate Plastic Surgeon that an attorney usually will not take a plastic surgery case unless you are extremely disfigured(my right ear lobe was cut in half & he sewed what was left of my ear lobe to a point on my neck)........IThe Doctor asked to make a copy of the Lifestyle Brochure that brought with me. When the Doctor came back in the office, after reading the Brochure I was told that I could go to the POLICE because the claims they make on their literature were FRAUD & FRAUD is againist the law.
I'm not a computer person but I when I typed in Lifestyle Lift last year, I found so many outraged clients..do yourself a favor & trust me on this.
It is like a assembly line surgery....45 minutes..& you are out, then the next $4,000 check comes in....... the other lady was right ...as soon as you have the operation & give them your money they want nothing to do with you....period.
When I called my Doctor after being in pain 2 months after the surgery(which I found out later was due to the fact that he sewed my ear so tight to my neck that it was making my eye twitch)..he answered the phone ...not addressing me by saying hello, or can I help you? ...it was just "YES?" but the inflection of his voice was more like YESSSSS????? very aggravated & put off because I was taking time away from his next $4,000 check he was getting for 45 minutes work, that will last 2 to 5 months instead of the 5-10 years that I was promised during my consultation.
The problem in the U.S. is that the Lifestyle Lift is advertised during ligitimate programing.... The News,Oprah, Dr. Phil...When they show the commercial on T.V. it says "As featured on Oprah,NBC,CBS,ABC, & so on & so on... I saw the ad during the Dr. Phil show...key word being DOCTOR. He has shows on Plastic Surgery....I never thought in a million years he would have a commericail for Plastic Surgery during his show that was fraud....... To add insult to injury the Lifestyle Lift Doctors target legitimate programing ... like the News...Oprah...Dr. Phil... a consumer seeing the commercial on their favorite show will never think that Oprah or Tyra or Dr. Phil or their favorite news personalities would promote a commerical for plastic surgery unless it was researched.......Oprah & Tyra especially.........supposedly the CHAMPION OF WOMEN..They would never agree to have the Lifestyle Lift commercial run during their shows unless they researched it.....They do not need the money..They have advertisers waiting in line....They have a million advertisers...it sucks....
They should be ashamed of themselves...they validate the Lifestyle Lift by association...you dont see the Lifestyle Lift Doctors advertising the Lifestyle Lift commerical during the Jerry Springer show or a afternoon game show......... These Doctors target respected shows with loyal viewers. The consumer would never believe that a commercial run during the News for the Lifestlye Lift, that encourages Plastic Surgery, would not be checked out by their favorite News Team.
I found out when I called the News station after my surgery that these shows are not LEGALLY required to do ANY research on the claims of their advertisers. When I told him I had the surgery,, the first thing out of his mouth was that they are not legally responsisble to check out the claims of their advertisers & they were not LIABLE. He was really sympathetic & suggested I contact the Attorney General of my state to complain. He understood how the consumer watching the Lifestlye Lift commercial run during a program like the Dr. Phil show, could be interpretated by the viewer as a endorsement for the Lifestyle Lift.
It should be a crime that these shows & news stations are not legally required to protect the consumer by researching the claims of a commercial for PLASTIC SURGERY (Lifestlye Lift) before they take their advertising money. Can that be true..they are not liable?. I know it is all about the money but...really....
If this letter stops one person from getting the surgery I'll feel vindicated.
I wish I knew of a way to get every person that was scamed across the Country to send $1-$100 to a attorney of choice that we all voted on & trusted.... The attorney could hold the money in an escrow account until we got enough money to take a full page ad out in the Washington Post or New York Times ,or put a commercial on Cable TV to fight back these UNETHICAL Lifestyle Doctors who might as well be putting a gun to our heads in a dark alley & stealing $4,000 from us.
Last year I thought I remember a husband in North Carolinga that was going to sue on behalf of his wife...are you still out there? If someone can figure out a way......I'm in.
Hey Oprah & Tyra...."Champion of Women Everwhere" if you see this letter you should help us raise the money for a full page ad in the Washington Post or the New York Times warning women about the Lifestyle Lift Scam.Your advertising team did you both a great diservice by running a commercial for something as serious as Plastic Surgery, (the Lifestyle Lift ), without researching it first and consulting you both.
On theOprah Show today.........She advertisied..Excedrine,Boston Market Chicken,Comcast Cable and Stanley Steamer Carpet Cleaner......How can she justify adding a commerical for PLASTIC SURGERY into the mix, by running the Lifestyle Lift commerical without checking it out? Even if she is not legally required to research the Doctors, or consumer complaints........ she owes it to her viewers. Her viewers are loyal to a fault..they trust her...they deserve to know that when they watch a commercial during her show that encourages PLASTIC SURGERY... that she thought enough of them to make sure it is safe...that the claims are legitimate...that The Lifestyle Lift is not a scam... & put her viewers FIRST, the advertising money SECOND. That goes for Tyra, Dr. Phil, CBS,NBC,ABC & the rest of them!

I had the LSL in Dec. of 2007. Fraud is a key word here. Although I met with the Dr. prior to surgery, he told me it would be a simple cut....that I would not feel pain because of the cocktail he would give me...and a few needles. I called a week later to cancel and he phoned me, saying that the negative things online were from competitors who were threatened by the tremendous success of the LSL.
He was a licensed ENT surgeon and told me he had more experience in his internships that any cosmetic surgeon. The day of surgery was horrible. It took more than three hours....and I was awake for the first 2 hrs. I laid there, crying, because of the pain I felt from time to time...and had to ask for more numbing shots...which in themselves were horrible to get. I HAD NO CLUE that I would be wrapped like a mummy for two wks....the video tape of the woman having the surgery in an hour and then going to lunch is complete FRAUD. Going to the police is an idea I had not thought of, and is an excellent suggestion. We ARE gathering all women who have felt cheated, or have been maimed by this procedure.

I wanted to thank the guest that warned everyone that the lifestyle lift is a scam. I was considering getting the procedure but absolutely will not do it now. Thanks to all that have cautioned the public. I went for a consult today and it did not occur to me that the procedure would last just a few months. All the before and afters were of patients just days after the lift. There were no pictures of patients five years, two years or even one year later.
I spoke with a woman who works for a board certified plastic surgery website. I emailed her and she took the time to call me. She told me the Doctor who I spoke with at lifestyle lift is not board certified in plastic surgery. They just take a course and that's all they need.
I'm glad that people take the time to help others. If I got scammed I would want to let others know too.

This is for all the brave women and men who had the procedure and were honest enough to tell us the truth. I just watched the advertisement on the lifestyle lift. It looks so unbelievably truthful, I was about to call and get information on how to get one myself. Something told me it was too good to be true, so I decided to check out this site before I call and set up an appt. But after reading all that you'all had to say, I am glad I didn't go thru with it. Thank you so much for the truth, I will stay the way I am and if and when I decide I need a face lift, I will go to a board certified plastic surgeon. I am 61 yrs. old and don't look that bad after all, LOL. A big THANK YOU from Texas.
Thank you all so much. your comments have completley put the idea to bed for me.
I was in Florida on holiday this year and was sold on the idea and was just checking out if it could be done in UK.
It seems it can so unfortunatley it looks like they are set to make loads of money out of it here. Lets hope people come across this site before embarking on the procedure.
Once again Thank you .
