I just finished the 30 days system and lost 6.5lbs and 8″ total. I feel good: my skin has really improved which I did not expect and my energy is slightly improved. I didn’t lose as much weight as I had hoped. I was really hoping to drop 10lbs in the month but I am going to continue to replace one meal with the shake and eat mindfully. I took Isagenix MAINLY to lose weight.
I'm not sure about all the reviews regarding people feeling sick. I didn't find the transistion from solid food to shakes that terrible (as in starving) or difficult on my stomach. I don't have IBS, I am a moderatly active person, I am a relatively clean and healthy eater, I just eat too much. I can run 5-10km easily on a weekly basis but I do have a BMI of 30 which is overweight/borderline obese. What Isagenix has REALLY helped me with is knwoing when I am truly full and truly hungry. My portions are more realistic (as in smaller! and more nutritious) and NOT eating after 7pm or indulging in alcohol is a huge benefit to weght loss.
In conclusion I feel like i could have figured out portion control in a number of different ways and the Isagenix PROGRAM is what helped for me. As far as the Isagenix PRODUCTS I am very much less convined of their merits. Weight loss is calories in vs. calories out, so any meal replacement type diet or just smaller portioned (calorie reduced meals) would probably work just as well. Many ppl see dramatic weight loss due to the cleanse portion, but I belive my body is not toxic and junk filled so the results of "cleansing" were very minimal.
I WILL NEVER BUY ISAGENIX AGAIN!!! The Cleanse for Life drink is disgusting, the snacks taste like dog food and the Isagenix Chocolate shake will not mix with water (I end up drinking sludge with no flavor). My cousin has been on this program for a year and has lost around 40 lbs but she works out everyday. She joined the Isagenix team so she could get a discount on the products. I thought I would try it since she was so successful on this program, but I'm not impressed. I spent $240CAD for the 9 day cleanse and I would've been better off going on the slimfast diet that would've saved me $220. The first couple of days I had the worst headaches ever, including the feeling of starving to death. My stomach was growling for two days. I have lost a few pounds but would've preferred to enjoy the taste of the products than to have to eat cardboard, which is how all the food tastes! I continue to workout everyday and will use this 9 days as my jump start to a healthier lifestyle, but will not be spending any more money on this c**p. I would like a refund for having to endure the awful taste of all Isagenix products. Good luck to anyone who starts this program, I doubt you'll stay on it unless you're a millionaire!
EAT REAL FOOD, not powders and bars!

I hate Isagenix!!!!!! Yes it helps you loose weight big whoop! The cleanse is awful your body needs to eat not take liquid all day and suffer! I lost weight but as soon as I got off of it I gained it ALL BACK plus! in a very quick manner, I work out 5 times a week hard core and was still gaining it like crazy! Its an awful product. Im 30 years old and I do not want the rest of my life to consist of drinking 2 shakes every single day. You get bored really quickly.
But remember this is your choice. I am 30 years old and plan on getting what ever best nutrition out there I can get. Because going to the grocery store isn't cutting it these days, as much as you think it is.
I dont understand why you thought you needed to drink the shakes all day? Its all about balanced nutrition. My Aunt is on it and has never felt better in her life! She has/HAD fibromyalgia, the pain is gone! She drinks 2 shakes a day and eats clean, nutritious meals 5-6 times a day and theyre good! Im going to start on her plan, Im a 25yo male who works out 5-7 times a week as well :) Her nor I are making any money off of it, the above is simply factual.
I've been on the products for 2 weeks and I have lost 3.9kilos which I haven't been able to do on any other diets. I like the discipline of the diet and knowing what I have to eat and when. I feel more positive and happy which I really didn't think would be one of the benefits but it has been for me. I realise that a lot of the weight loss is due to the intake of less calories and I don't believe it's due to the actual products however I'm happy that I have a regime by using the products - I like the shakes - they taste great with ice and blended up so that they're like a thick shake. In the middle of the day, I have a salad and tuna and that fills me up. The way I see it, I've cut out the junk from my diet, including alcohol, and I'm feeding my body healthy stuff. I think we eat way too much and I would be quite happy to lessen my intake and I'm hoping this diet will teach me a little about discipline when it comes to eating. I will keep up the shakes for breakfast and I'll be sure to keep the snacks with me which don't taste like c**p as another post said ... I find them to be really delicious and I figure they've got to be better to snack on than chocolates, lollies and crisps. Initially, I too felt lethargic and had really bad headaches but that has all passed and I believe that's because my body is feeling better. I no longer suffer from GERD and, when I walk, I no longer feel tight in the chest. In a nutshell, I'm really pleased that I went on this program. I know now, if I do gain some weight, I have a formula for getting rid of it.
