My son is going through the same thing. He’s 4 years old. He constantly complains of back pain and his legs go out. He’s so weak and doctors can’t help. He had a LP 2 years ago. Did you ever get any answers?

I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and your symptoms sound a lot like that. Check it out?

Dealing with something similar. Went to the Er with a bad headache and a fever. They tested me for meningitis. I remember things went ok, but as he was doing the procedure I was really tense and I remember a hard pressure in my back area. After I had really bad numbness in my right arm, and hours after I had chills and tingly sensations all over legs and back and shoulders and face. My feet sometimes get pretty cold and numb and laying down sometimes makes it worse. I went to the ER again and was told I was fine and it was probably nothing, but it get's pretty scary. I only had my LP about a month or so ago...it was bad the first week after the LP and then I had no issues for a month, and then recently I had a major pain in my back and leg numbness around one of my legs and the "Tingles" are back off and on. I'm talking to an actual DR two weeks from now and hoping for things to get sorted out.

I had 2 lumbar punctures in 2003 and ever since have had a horrible nerve problem in that area. Have there been reports of nerve damage from lumbar punctures causing injury to nerve in that area and still being painful 20 years later?
