I just found mine this morning. A small lump underneath the top left lip of my vagina. It COMPLETELY freaked me out.. and it hurts a little. Not unbearably but a little. I've never gotten this before (at least not that I've noticed). I don't have a lot of sex because my boyfriend lives in Florida. I normally have a lot of vaginal discharge, but my GYNO told me that it was because the Ph balance was off...so I'm really not sure WHAT this is. It doesn't look like the pictures of a batholins abscess, its smaller and I can move it around. There's no head. JUST SKIN. I don't wanna do anything at home because I don't want to make it worse. PLEASE HELP.

Anyways, don't be embarrassed to talk to your mom or another adult you trust. When I was your age I asked my mom about it and she assured me that it was a swollen lymphnode or gland (like that one person mentioned earlier) and it would go away in a few days on its own and it did. It can be caused by rubbing up against that area.. riding a bike, horse back riding.. sex.. ect. Hope this helped!!

Ok well I have one, and you can't see it, but i can feel it when i move my finger over it. and it DOES cause me pain as of today. does that mean i dont have a skin cyst?
im 12 years old and actually just turned 12 on april 3 and i have this quarter round big red spot near my vagina but close to my panty line and its smooth and i really dont wanna tell my mom cause she goes badoncars when she hears stuff like that soo can anyone help me ( i have never had sex or even came close to doing it )

I'm in my mid twenties and never had sex or anything, so when I woke up this morning and felt a little irritation I was surprised to feel a ball-like thing inside the skin. The only reason it annoys me/hurts is because its right where my underwear sits on the side of my crotch, so it's all red and irritated. At first I thought it was just a pimple, but reading this I guess it's a cyst?
How long do they normally take to go away with regular heat? I take hot bathes often, would that help it? I'd be too scared to pop it, and there's no head on it right now anyway. It's just in an extremely uncomfortable place.

I have The Same Thinq. It's A Small Lump, You cant Bust It, && when You Try It Gets Kinda Sore. I Went To The Doctor And She Said it's Fine, It's From When You have a Open Pore And Sweat Gets Into It && Then It Becomes A " sebaceous cyst" and to put a warm rag over it and try to keep it as dry as possible. it will go away in about 4-5 days
I have the same thing .... I'm 13 and I'm so scared I have never had anything like this before and I'm to embarresed to tell my mom ... i have a small knot like thing under my skin near my area and it hurts when I push on it I had one like three months ago but it went away within a well but now I have another one and i really want to know what it is! Someone help me I'm so scared I'm about to cry cause I don't want it to be anyhing seriouse , its like a little knot the size of a BBC and it hurts when i push on it but not when i leave it alone I'm Soo scared someone help plzzzzzzz
It's nothing to worry about. It's a little follicle that has been filled with dead skin and the like. These ARE poppable. You just have to get a hold and squeeze and keep squeezing. Some mushy white stuff will come out. But....it's absolutely nothing to worry about.
it crazy hear ppl talking about this, because, i thought i was the only one who had these little bumps show up on the inner side, lower part of the vagina lip part. i never got them checked out, but they normal never bothered me, until one day, the lip part started itching annd hurt to touch and became very swollen. so what i decided to do is try and pop it, there wasnt a head of any kind. so what i did was tweezer out the hair where it was hurting, and then i squeezed the area were i felt a hard not, and a few sec. later a small ball) round, fleshy ) thing came out, i didnt have puss or anything smelly come out, but it did bleed and hurt to squeeze out, but it didnt itch or hurt like it did. and the next day it felt sooooooo much better.
Wow I feel sooo much better I have had this over the years but now that I'm in a relationship freaking out and hope goes down by the weekend but now I can just say its an inflamed gland and nothing to worry about! Jeez I really thought it was just me! Doh!
How did you pop it? if there isnt any head to pop it or anything. And I dont think if i squeeze it, it will pop
