I am actually in the same exact boat as you. I have tried to quit, but it just makes me feel more crappy. What I have found is the most beneficial, is to smoke in moderation. I too smoke first thing in the morn cuz I can't get going I feel so horrible. Smoke maybe once or twice throughout the day, like lunch time or so and then again in the evening. I know it's morning noon and night, but keep it to about 2 bowls at a time. That seems to be the best for me. Not too much and not too little. I have smoked the whole day away and don't feel that it really benefits me when I do that, it almost creates more pain when I do that. But just a little consistency through the day. It's like taking a pill every so often to keep the "drug" in your system. (which is probably why we wake feeling crappy, but smoking through the night will not help, I've tried that and it brings me down through the day).

WOW, he did exactly what you were skeptical about. He told you it was bad.

I have had docs do the same thing to me. They scoped me and found a polyp and H.Pylori. They tried putting me on meds for an acidic tummy and I've been on meds for anxiety. None of the meds worked as good as the marijuana. The meds hurt my tummy. And you still have to take the meds for forever. Why not use 1 item that is natural and can be used in so many ways and take effect so rapidly.

Our docs think marijuana is bad, so they find ways to tell you such. There are studies that show how marijuana benefits acid tummys and IBS issues and anxiety issues and it has less side effects than the other "drugs"/meds the docs give you.

Perhaps it's the prescribed drugs that are the problem?

Heyy :)
So I have the same problem kinda lol .
I have a uti too but I been taking antibiotics for it so I think its healed but then I recently found out I have a small stomach ulcer .. the only times I can eat is when I smoke weed .. but if I smoke weed my stomach also feels as if its getting bloated and full but I still try to eat .. it doesn't really hurt it just bothers me like an uncomfortable feeling .. I was wondering if the smoke was maybe irritating my ulcer ? .. cus I haven't smoked all day today and my stomach feels okay .. I been trying to look on the internet to see if anyone else feels like this and Ur the only one so far .. do u still feel like that after u smoke ?

My friend currently has a swollen and pianfull stomach that came on directly after smoking some strong hashish. He has never experienced this before but I think that the quality and quantity is more thqn he is used to. Can find no info on this on the web except for this posting. If he dies or the problem persists then I will post again; otherwise I think it is just an unusual symptom of excessive dosage.

question has anyone ever heard of having indigestion stomach pains and puking related to pot?
i have had stomach problems for a couple years with the symtoms above and have been prescribed different meds for an ucer and acid reflux i have since gone to a specialist and at the end of our consoltation he asked if i smoked pot ? i responded yes 2 or 3 times a week and to my surprise he seems to think that it is related to pot.( i do smoke more frequentley then that)but have only heard the opposite ..

I kinda went through the same thing.. i was smoking a morning bowl one day got up to brush my teeth and instantly had to puke. After telling my friend of my morning he told me that my body was just getting used to smoking a lot of weed.. see we have these hairs in our throat and lungs, that do several different things like like filter our air and keep our food down. when smoking excessive amounts of weed these hairs get burnt off and cannot keep the food down any longer therefore, puking. nevertheless, i just kept doing my daily routine and now errythins fine

A month and a half ago i started getting stomach pains. I thought smoking more weed would help it go away. Stomach problems as in stomach ruptures/grumble, stomach pains, during some of my meals i would throw up, no apetite, loss of weight etc. I use to hit poppers (piece of tabacco and weed) with my bong 3-5 times a day. Every week my stomach was getting worse. I went to the doctors a week ago for a blood/urine test found out i had H-plyori.

ALWAYS REMEMBER TO CHANGE YOUR BONG WATER. A couple times i would leave it for a couple of hours hit it again and yeah.. Infection. If youre having stomach pains, feel like throwing up definitely stop hitting the bong/blunts. Take a break, start hitting spliffs.

Stomach infections are disgusting. I cut back from smoking 3 times a day to a 2-4 day break inbetween sessions.

i smoked yesterday on antibiotics at first i felt like a million dollars then an hour later i had a huge headahe and stomach pains. it stuck around for 20 - 30 minutes then went away.
Some people are different its your choice.

MORAL OF THE STORY IF YOU HIT YOUR BONG ALOT AND HAVE THE SAME SYMPTONS AS ME DEFINITELY GO TO YOUR DOCTOR.

yes and 2 coffees a day can kill my stomach its the individual and you need a doctor to help but weed can settle a stomach with which the doctors couldnt tell me what is wrong

Just a thought there is always a certain percentage of people who are allergic to something, Based on what you are saying when you stop the problem goes away seems like you have the answer, I love weed and what a bummer

This is a absolutely true! For past almost 1.5 years I've been in ER about once a month due to vomiting and abdominal pain. Had all possible tests done on me, x rays, ultrasound, upper and lower endoscopy,CAT scan and all came back looking normal (not that I have anything against this) but after feeling sick for so long I am the point where actually I would like them to find something wrong. I've been smoking pot for 16 years full time. Last 8 years about once an hour if I am at home. So two years ago I decided to quit and get my life back on track but this turned out to be very hard, I was having acid problems for ~ 8 months constantly : morning sickness, acid reflux, loss of appetite, diarrhea, but no VOMITING and it was not getting any better so I decided to start again. After about 3 weeks after re-starting I ended up in ER again same thing vomiting and abdominal pain.. This was last year in May. Now is July of the following year and I averaged one trip to ER monthly. I've been telling myself it's not from weed but it sure is. Now I quit again 2 weeks ago and boy am I back into some major abdominal discomfort and again morning sickness, loss of appetite and what not. I really freaki'n hate to quit it but it seems I do not have any other choice, I might do it few times a year but that's it for me. I know I'll be experiencing all this issues again for a while but I hope this time it'll actually last shorter all this discomfort. I quit smoking cigarettes 3 months ago as well and coffee as well as carbonated drinks so if this does not work then I don't know what will. Some people here are determined that pot is best herb on a planet ( I am one of them too and I hate to quit it) but for me it causes also more harm then good when everything considered

Stress can manifest itself in stomach pain. If you have stress in your life it can be enhanced or accentuated by marijuana usage. This is for some, not all people. From looking at the posts, I can see that for nearly everyone, the pains are starting as they enter into adulthood and for others as they enter into stressful situations or periods in their lives. Look, I've had these exact stomach pains and I haven't smoked in years. But I'm going through stress right now. The most TELLING posts were from TheMilkMan who found the solution to his stomach pains were antidepressants. And like he said, you may not know you are stressed or that marijuana is increasing your stress. I don't advocate or suggest you use antidepressants but the likely situation is not that there is some sinister effect of marijuana attacking your stomachs while others are unaffected..no, it's that you are stressed, marijuana intensifies that, and the symptoms show as pain in your stomach. My recommendation is similar though, unless you go the pharma antidepressant/antianxiety route, stop using marijuana. Stop until you can get your stress under control. Eating, vaping etc. won't matter because the problem isn't the smoke, it's the stress response.

Not to be arguementative but i've never had to swallow smoke and still ended up beltching it out and having smoke with it. I believe there is an indirect way for the smoke to actually be ingested while breathing. but this is in my own expirience
