Look obviously whoever you are,you do not posess a hinch of information regarding both weightlifting and marijuana. Especially the latter. Ive been smoking since i was 13 (7 years now and counting) and have successfully built a body that is lean, big and powerful. If you consume your marijuana without any additives,you will most likely live a significantly healthier stressless life compared to your peers. Everything this person has said has no proof whatsoever. And believe me "diminished or extinguished sexual pleasure for women and men" hahahaj clearly you have never had a joint or sex ( or the combination which is dammmn fine..) However if your not a constant smoker, i would not recommend smoking before the gym, just because chances are youll spend your time watching some girls ass or some onsane lifter doing his abnormally weird movements on the bar.

I have what I call the stoner body because I lift a lot but more often I smoke weed. Im also 6'2.5' and only 175. So now im just this super cut lanky guy that can out-of-nowhere press the truck stick in football all the way downfeild.

i do crossfit and have gained 35 lbs (from 140 to 175) in 2 years but had to quit smoking both cig and weed after one year i started crossfit. few days a go i started smoking weed again but my cardio now sucks and my muscles aren't building like before because the weed is in my blood and block the flow of oxygen which help build muscles! for skin people its best you quit, for fat or people with some big body its ok it helps shrink a little and transform the fat into muscles but they have to push harder....

These endorphans can cause you to over exert your muscles. They are not meant to lift that much and you could tear or permanently damage them. It's like when a mother lifts a car off her kid. Thats a bit dramatic, but it is a similiar effect. Use the energy to lift, but don't change your rep amount.

I'd be holding out on you while tapping it elsewhere too. You just said SOOO many hateful things about your own husband on a public forum over, and over. Ever thought about couples counseling? You should take a step forward to find the REAL reason your relationship is miserable, as opposed to self-diagnosing, or taking random shots in the dark. Both myself and my partner are pot smokers, we've been together for yearsss, and sex is definitely not a problem. The poor guy sounds miserable with you, and you sound disgusted by him. Can't ever see that as a recipe for a mutual, healthy, sexual relationship.

All those studies are biased. Both marihuana, cocaine and amphetamine help weightlifting, that's why subsitues of all this substances were used as preworkout.

I’ve actually on and off smoked weed the past 10 years and have been lifting for 3. It’s helped me in multiple ways. If I work out when I’m stoned I have wayyyy better muscle concentration and for some reason I feel significantly stronger. It increases blood flow as well which in a way could have some sort of effect but it also helps me eat those extra calories while I’m bulking then makes me sleep amazing lol. Give it a try!
