Has it actually occurred to anyone here that this will also be read by many women with small labia?? The original question (the link you click on to get to the thread) asks which type of labia is better. So naturally you’d expect both types of women to click on it. So I did. And I can't believe some of the stuff I'm reading…
The vilification of, disgust and hatred for women who naturally have small or no inner labia - and I think there's a fair few of us out there – on display is unreal. We didn't ask to be born this way, and we also cannot modify what we have down there unlike those with the large lips. Same for the men who like our type of vulva. The handful of men on this thread who stated that they favoured smaller labia (how dare them!) were quickly shouted down and silenced by being called paedophiles or gay. So are you saying because I have small inner labia I have a child's vagina (I've had kids – so I doubt it) or a penis even???! Or that my genitalia is so repellent and abhorrent to most normal functioning heterosexual men that only the worst kind of sex predator would be attracted to it?? Surely those types of insults are way worse than having them called beef curtains. People think they can get away with saying anything online. I would love for you to say this to my face. Believe me if you said anything like this to my husband (who prefers my type - lucky for me I guess – judging by the comments here that’s a rarity indeed) he would put you six feet under, believe me you would be eating concrete right now. What else is there - oh yeah its also being referred to as the “Barbie” look - so I'm plastic and fake am I??! This type of reductive, misogynist vilification and the pitting of women against women has to stop. Its not gonna help anyone and we should all support eachother. Another shocking trend on this thread is the alarming number of men willing to ditch their small-labia wives over a large-labia woman! Madness. So a person is not worthy of your love and affection because she doesn’t have long flaps hanging out of her vagina?!
Then there are the unhelpful small penis comparisons – its not the same! It’s a false equivalency. A small penis does have an effect on functionality and pleasure – a small labia doesn’t. It has no bearing on what the inside of the vagina is like. In fact the more I think about it this insult is worse than all the others combined as not only are we now aesthetically not pleasing but we’re not pleasing from an actual sexually functioning point of view. Unusable. Just put us all in the bin will you and make the world a better place right?! The worst thing is an inexperienced male might read that and believe it!
A few more misleading comments I’ve come across on here (and other similar-themed discussion threads on this site) that I’d like to address:

Wrong! Wrong! Wrong! I’m my 40s, have popped out 3 kids and believe me my inner labia are barely noticeable. The way your vulva looks as an adult develops during puberty. That’s it. It doesn’t change after that. it has nothing to do with age or sexual history or anything like that. It looks like complete ignorance reigns supreme here.

So now my vulva is a butt now – anything else? And you don’t know you’re with a woman unless she has long labia? Wow. It sounds like you’re in desperate need of an anatomy lesson. I mean imagine if we said things like that about women who have had hysterectomies – that they no longer count as women - there would be an outcry! So why is it ok to mock us small labia women in that way? It’s very hurtful.

Joking aside I’m not sure it occurs to some of you how many of us there are (both types are very common) – probably about half of women (I’d wager more than that actually but lets go with half), I know there are variations in shape as well (so there are many different types) but this discussion is specifically about size so overall women would roughly fall into two camps – small (so tucked inside the outer labia) and large (protruding outside of the outer labia). So we’re talking 25% of the world’s adult population – billions of people – who are apparently undesirable and useless. I would also like to point out that the large type is also referred to as labial hypertrophy (google it) …so there is a medical term for that. There is no specific term for our type. Make of that what you will but to me that says we are the default setting and the others are the unusual ones, the variation. Nothing wrong with either of course but I just wanted to point that out as judging by many comments on this thread it looks like small labia are being made out as the abnormality, a disgusting, repellent freak occurrence and abomination to be shunned, when its clearly not. Its nothing special. BOTH types are VERY common.
And we are not the enemy here. Just because we happen to NATUARALLY (so something completely out of our control) conform to an arbitrary societal flavour of the month beauty standard (which is clearly bollocks judging by the comments from men on here and millions of other discussion threads - ALL of them favouring the larger type) doesn’t mean you can just insult, dehumanise and demonize us. We are human beings with feelings. And we want to be loved and adored and desired just like everybody else. It’s a bit like with the fat-shaming - fat-shaming is a big no-no yet thin-shaming is perfectly acceptable.
At least this is further proof that the whole “small labia is the norm, the standard of beauty” narrative is utter BS peddled by the mainstream media. I still need to figure out why this is being pushed so hard other than trying to cause division, resentment and line plastic surgeons’ bank accounts. Another lie that is being peddled is that the evil porn industry only shows one type of vulva (the short labia type) therefore giving women with larger labia body issues. This is not true. You can get any type of woman - short, tall, fat, thin, young, old, blonde, brunette - ANY type - in porn and the same goes for labia type. Beware of the algorithm on these sites - if you click on one type of video/ picture it will suggest more of the same. So you end up in the porn equivalent of an echo chamber. so don't fall into that trap and draw wrong conclusions from what you’re seeing. So thats a false premise right there. A fake bogey man that feminists and the like feel they need to rally against. Then there’s the camel toe issue – apparently large labia women are more likely to suffer from this affliction and therefore seek out labiaplasty – this is also easily debunked. its the OUTER labia (the labia majora) that gives your groin area that effect and we all get that (yes even those of us with short inner labia) if we wear clothing that is too tight. so again false. So larger labia women are being painted into a (false) state of victimhood based on completely false premises. It feels like we (short labia women) are unwitting, unwilling and hapless pawns caught in a game of ideological warfare, which is quite possibly a by-product of the wider, never-ending culture wars. We didn’t ask for this and we want no part in this. Please leave us and the handful of men who happen to prefer small labia out of it. We have nothing to do with your jihad. At the end of the day these things are all designed to divide us and to make us hate ourselves and other women. Don’t fall for it – don’t play their game.
And for what its worth I think the loaded and deliberately divisive question raised by the OP was a case of trolling (I don't believe this “saving myself for marriage” nonsense for one minute). Either that or a very sad attempt at fishing for compliments/ seeking validation. Just my two cents on the whole thing. Something doesn’t smell right for sure.
Anyway, to finish can we just agree that (and its important that men understand this too) - whether you have an innie or an outie – it doesn’t matter – we are ALL NORMAL, we are ALL NATURAL and we are ALL BEAUTIFUL. Not one type is better than the other. Not one is more “authentic” or “real” than the other. And you’re not more or less of a woman due to the size of your inner labia.

I have always thought my looks like a hot mess and I almost did get surgery but I needed a car more at the time but everyman that I have told this too or past flings I have had SAID DO NOT DO IT that those or mine whatever are hot as f**k ..I still have a hard time and I'm 32 years old but I'm learning that men love it more to olay with....I never was into big inner lips my self on other girls but I think it was because I seen my own in them or something either way i am becoming pretty proud of my blooming flower
