methadone to suboxone

TAKE SUBUTEX OR BUB NOT SUBOXONE IS NALAXONE SHEET!!!

I recently switched from methaome to Suboxone I actually got a lil buzz I had to miss one dose so 24 hours they started me off with 2mg cut it into 4 pieces and I took 3of the 4 pieces and took the last peiece home just in case I'm trying to stay as low as I can I need off the sh*t 10 yrs on methadone to long .... Switch and get the hell off it

Hi, I’ve read several posts on different blogs and I can’t believe how much doctors in the US give out such
Addictive drugs. Depopulation! If you are thinking of going on subbutex from either Herion or coming of the methadone, before starting you need to make sure you have took no gear for at least 24-36 hours and the same with starting it coming off methadone. They say you can transfer from 30 mls, which quite annoys me. What annoys me is I was a herion addict for 20+ years, so I wasn’t having any doctors that have just read books tell me anything. Make sure you get down to 10 mls. It’s not hard. The thing that stops that happening is fear of withdrawal. I know that feeling. I’ve abused more meds than they make and drugs. Oh by the way methadone is not an opiate it’s an opioid. Herion converts into morphine in the body within 30 mins. I stopped my meth on 10mls and swapped to 4 mg of subbutex, and didn’t really have any withdrawals. However once on the subbutex, They began to make me ache, have horrendous sleep and generally feel c**p. I wouldn’t go back on the Herion. Just doesn’t do anything for me, 3 years I’ve been clean. And the reason I started taking Herion was because I started suffering horrendous panic attacks daily, 5-6 a day. Had them for 2-3 years and they ruined my life doctors I don’t think really understand how dibalatating they really are. But I’ll give any fellow addicts any advice I can. I came off the subbutex quickly as I could not handle living life like that daily. So I dropped the dose myself and always have throughout my addiction.

You don't have a clue about anything you spoke about. That was like a junkie description of why you get sick if you don't wait. The reason you go into a precipitated withdrawal from taking the suboxone too early is because buperenorphine has a higher affinity than even naloxone to your opioid receptors and it is considered a partial agonist. A full agonist is something like methadone heroin etc. So you have this drug on there that is nicely stimulating your receptors and end up replacing with a drug that only has a partial effect on the receptors. A precipitated withdrawal will last about 30 mins of puking sweating etc and it can be over come if one was to take a powerful opioid like fentanyl. But you are better to tough it out and then take the other 4mg of your suboxone. That is why you should also only start with 4mg to make sure you have waited long enough.

Transition from 70 mg of methadone to Subutex. I went without meth for 3 days. Took my first 8mg of sub. I felt no change. After 2nd day doctor switch me to Suboxone. I am on my 4th day doing 8mg twice a day and still feel like c**p.

I was on 90mg methadone had to come down to under 30mg then stood home a week with nothing but clonadine and went back to Dr he gave me a 8mg sub stuck it under my tongue 45min later I was fine wasn't doin somersaults but I wasn't sick

So you prefer methadone over suboxine. I'm on 140 MG it's been 3 days since the methadone. I'm switching ti suboxine. I don't know if it will work. But ima try it I have to wait 5 days without anything. This sh*t is rough. Cravings are bad
