Missed period after tubal ligation

How did both of your situations turn out??? I am 46 and had my tubal 14 years ago. I have missed 3 monthly cycles now and am feeling tired, nauseated, headaches, tenderness in breasts and bloated. I haven't been worrying about it because of the tubal but am beginning to become concerned now and would like to know if either of you were pregnant ? I have always been regular as well. I had a D&C to attempt to correct some heavy bleeding last November.

hi everyone i had a tubal in may 2007 after my third child after that periods were regular but only three days long in Jan 2008 i had a missed period and something told me i was pregnant i took 3 test and results were positive negative and nothing went to er did blood test it was negative the nurse told me i was probably pregnant but with tubal my body rejected it and my body rid it itself in which was good if not would have had to get a dnc. however period is due today aug 2012 and nothing i did however spot yesterday and day before with all pregnancy symptoms positive and negative results agin . i will post what results are to come and hope it helps someone.

Hi, I can identify; I had my tubal 13 years ago I'm 45 and this is my first time being late with my cycle. The only time I was ever late was when I was pregnant,. I had my tubes tied after my third son. I am driving my self crazy!!!!

I am also experiencing the same problem 11 months after tubal ligation. Since then, my periods were regular & would occur after every 26 days. I am now 4 days late and I don't know what to do because at 43 pregnancy is something else. In addition, I have 4 children, the first one being 20 years old. Please advise when ever you have the results.

I'm 22 years old and I had identical twin girls in May of 2010 then a few months later I developed gal-stones and now need my gal-bladder taken out then I got pregnant again in march of 2011 and had my 3rd child in November of 2011 and I had c-sections with both pregnancies and right after my 2nd c-section I had a tubal and for the first 7 months I bled really heavier than before and cramped worst than before also and then I spotted for a few days in August and have not had a period since. I am also having the same "other symptoms" as you. I also have no clue what to do but when I ask my dr I got the same answers as you..

I am 31 yrs old, i had a tubal in jan 2007 aftet my 5th child, my periods have been very regular since then, but now all the sudden in oct 2012, nothing, no period no dpotting, im nearly 2 1/2 wks late, ive taken 2 tests both neg, ive gained nearly 10 lbs in the last month or so, idk what to think, ive seen alot of posts about early menopause after a tubal, does anyone know the likihood of that actually being the answer? any response/ideas are appreciated, thanks

I had a tubal 12 years ago now I'm 2 weeks late and my test is negative.

I had a Tubal ligation 26 months ago and i have had problems since i had it done but i am 4 months late and still show no sighs of starting. i have felt sick and tired and really cranky i already have 4 kids so this would not be an ideal situation for me to be pregnant anyone else having the same issue?

Hi, I am 27 years old and had my tubal done on June 8th.

I had somewhat of a period on Nov 1st ( only about 6 hours)

It started with the fever chills and nausea, pale white and excruciating pain, took 4 midol and about 25 minutes later it started to wear off.

Had heavy bleeding until later that night and then it just stooped about

an hour or 2 of dry blood after that but then there was nothing.

It is now Dec 8th, I was due to have my period on the 1st and since late last night I have had to same pain and have been taking 2 midol every 2 hours and still cramping...But NO bleeding????

I did go to the hospital today and the doctor took a preg test and it came back negative bu he said it would be too early to tell, he booked me for an ultrasound on the 21st.....

 

I had my tubes tied in 2009 but I have an erratic flow last month and non this month.  I have 4 kids and i think it would be so depressed if it was another pregnancy, ladies does that mean that there is no permanent solution to pregnancy?  I am 36 yrs and I think nursing a tiny baby at 36, is not something I yearn for...........

Hi, I am so curious about how things went for you!!! I am 42, I had my tubal ligation done 17 years ago, after my 3rd child. My last period was 8 weeks ago. If I could only know if the surgery caused early menopause, if I'm pregnant and my age effects the pregnancy test results (two negative tests), or if my period which has been regular my whole life is now just freaking out on me... For some reason I think that hearing how it went with you will make me feel less scattered. I would welcome a baby, I would welcome life without one, I would welcome the next stage of my life whatever that may be. Any chance you'll be able to respond? ---Or anyone who's walked in the same unknown...

I would like to kno the same thing I had a tubal in 2003 after 3rd c-section...I am nvr late took two home tests two days ago both negative I don't kno what this means I am 31 and not looking forward to any more children

Research ptls. Post tubal ligation syndrome. Drs swear it doesnt exist but it does.

Im freaking out I had a tubal 9 years ago I am ALWAYS regular now I am 10 days late 2home tests were negative I don't kno what to do especially since I recently lost my insurance

I am 31 yrs old and had my tubal Aug 2001. My periods have been regular every month. I have yet to start my period and the month is about over. I have had mood swings,constipation,headaches and frequent urination and bloating. I have not taken a preg test yet. I hear the chances of pregnancy is greater as time passes plus age u were when u had the tubal done. I was 19 at the time of my tubal and it was done hours after my son was born. My boyfriend keeps asking me if im pregnant. Is it possible?
