I reacted before on this post but like to add one thing more, the Canadian government not let doctors just have a clinic for fun, they watching very close and that is something we all need to keep in mind.
I really would love to have the name of your Chinese doctor if possible, the one who helped you into this world 40 years ago or as you said in your last post 37 years ago.
I have tried to replay here a few times but my emails didn't show up, so, let me try one more time, first of all, I feel sorry that the treatment didn't work for you, i feel better every day, second I like to mention that I don't believe that those doctors only like to take the money.
My doctor spoke very good English and is the owner from the Vancouver clinic, she treated me with respect and we became friends, she is very concerned for her patients well being and when I flu back she made sure to let me know if I had more questions.
I did a lot of research before I went to Vancouver and what no doctor or no medicine did, she did.
You said that your Chinese doctor tried to get some information about the Chen family, I don't understand that, you said he helped you into this world 40 years ago, in your last post you said he helped deliver you and your sister in this world so he must be very long time in your country.
I would love to have your doctor's name.
Anyway, I feel real sad that you have this bad experience and am sure that if you talk to Doctor Chen she will be very willing to tell you what went wrong, or to treat you again, a surgery is very painful and not without risks, sorry for my bad English, I live since a few years in the US and came from Europe.

No thanks, I know it is scary, I don't know or you be all by your self and without support, but I have the experience that it goes better every day and yes, she gave me medicine to take home and in two months i have to come back for a check up.
I have tried to react yesterday but the email didn't show up so that is why I keep it short.
My advice, talk to the doctor who treat you, ask somebody or they speak English, ask for Doctor Chen him self, his sister speaks good English so maybe he will too, good luck and feel better soon and like doctor Chen use to tell me, keep smiling.
Dinie, Unfortunately I had to come here on my own. My husband has to care for my little ones who are attending school. You are right, not easy to be in a hotel room in this neighborhood. However, I met people at the clinic that are very supportive and nice. We have exchanged numbers so we can text and ask questions to each other. Drink wheatgrass? Never tried it before. I will get some tomorrow.

Today is day 8 for me. I am so relieved to say the bleeding, pain, swelling, and all other things are 100% history. I feel like going home right now. However, I will complete the process of 2 weeks for me and make sure the treatment is complete. There is still a little skin tag so small it doesn't bother me if it stays. Dr. Ivy says it will also "dissapair" in a few days.
I have to say I was skeptical about it. I am a converted now into natural medicine. Even though the clinic has some questionable charges to patients, I have to say, I don't care. Health comes first. Money becomes irrelevant when you are in continuous pain month after month. I am so happy I found this option.
Another comment I have is not to expect the same treatment others receive. Each patient has a UNIQUE treatment. My case, I am cured after 8 day. I guess my case was an easy one. Some people have accupuncture every day, others twice a week, and some patients have no accupunture at all, just "medicine". You are evaluated each day you go there, and treatment for that day, depends on your unique progreass. From what I hear treatments vary from 2 weeks to 4 weeks.

I am so happy to hear this, it is wonderful that this people can do this, I don't care how or what, like you said, health comes first, I wish you a lot of health for the rest of your life, yes, every patient need a different treatment, I didn't have accupunture, just medicine and I am soooo happy, good luck to you
People on here keep saying they had the "MEDICINE" does anyone know what this "MEDICINE" is. I tried calling the clinic and asking but they have not returned my calls. I am astonished people are allowing a unregistered unlicensed Doctor give you "medicine" in the form of an injection by needle in your rear and nobody knows what it is that they are being given. The first rule of good health is to take charge of your body. Get the info people!
Hi Guest, (This is "out of town"). You are absolutely right to question what the heck this "medicine" is. Believe me, I tried so hard to find out what this "medicine" is. It was almost impossible to get an answer from them. When they say "medicine" it means in their world herbs, plants, roots, mushrooms, oils, seeds, nuts, and all kinds of sorts of spices I have never seen in my life. There is no use of cortisone, lidocaine, narcotics, or other regular pharmaceutical stuff we are used to. They are not even familiar with these sort of western medicine. By the way, there is a framed Diploma in the wall which I noticed today. It is for Dr. Chen from the "Canadian Society of Chinese Medicine and Accupunture" and another certificate from Industry Canada in regards to the regulation of the business. Gave me peace of mind to know that federal government is involved.
I too have been trying to find out what some of these "medicines" are which they use. While they may not be the traditional western pharmaceutical stuff, it does not mean they come without side effects. Herbs, plants, etc can still have poor interactions with other drugs, side effects and ill effects on parts of the body (liver, etc), so I think it is a bit ridiculous they will not disclose what they are using.
I have gone to a local chinese acupuncturist for some time and any time he has prescribed me to take herbs, he is happy to tell me what they are.
I have tried to reply on several occasions but the response does not show up in the thread. There is no email or error message telling me what has happened. I just thought someone would like to know. I would hate to find out that the moderator of this site is playing GOD with open communications. If this is the case then unfortunately this will be my last post.
I know that the Canadian Government is involved in this clinics, this people get checked by the government all the time and the doctor in Vancouver now get her new clinic because this doctor proved that she is a doctor ad do no harm to her patients, I also don't know what they are using, I have to admit that, but the government don't let this doctors practice if they are doing something bad. My husband was reading somewhere what they are using but he forgot where he saw it, I have trust in this doctors, I also know that some herbs can give allergies, I had to fill out a form where I was allergic too, they know for sure what western medicines are, at least my doctor knew,they also give you medicine when you going back home, they know we can let check this medicine in any lab.
I think it is not fair to judge this doctors, but if you have some doubts, please go to the clinic and ask the doctor in person, tell them your fear for side effects.
I am living in America, my husband is a retired dentist, he practiced for 28 years and he said that here in the USA you have to share the information about anything what makes people better.
I am not from here but from Europe and I always have believed in the healing of herbs and other natural treatments, I've got many western medicines where I had a bad allergic reactions from, there are more western medicines that give you bad side effects than herbal medicine does, like I said, it doesn't mean that all herbs can be tolerate, but it is more safe than all those western medicines, my youngest son got a prescription from the doctor for vitamines, he took it only a week and his liver got damaged, he stopped taking those things and now his liver is good, there are always risk, surgery on hemorrhoids is a risk, they can cut the wrong muscles, I did a lot of research about that and even the doctor here told me that there are risks plus they will come back.
So when the government give permission to this doctors, when is proven that they not harm their patients and when their is still doubt, please talk to the doctors there, do not write them emails, GO in person and talk to them.
Another thing,, YES, I do agree that some emails here not come through, I have send a few and they never showed up, but this is not a site made by any doctor but by other people, talk about that with one of the doctors too.
Don't let us judge just because we don't know about the Chinese treatments, those people are very loving and caring people, they don't want do any harm, I asked my doctor a lot and she answered all my questions, Doctor Chen in Vancouver speaks very good English, she really does care for her patients and we talked a lot, I had many concerns, she did not let me take many medicines by mouth, she just brought it on the hemorrhoid.
We are very willing to use cortizone injections what is very bad for the body, we take antibiotic and pain killers, we use pills for depression what can lead to suicide but we are very judgmental about herbs?
I don't know or they post this but this is my opinion, when a treatment doesn't work for one person they are going to complain but when it works than you hear nobody, again, go with questions to the doctor, give him/her a change to explain, don't come with, they don't speak English, YES they do if you take the time and have patience to listen to this people.
I am 8 years in the USA and still learn every day a new word, so don't think that if people not speak the language properly they are stupid, trust me, I am a very smart person but also willing to listen and to respect people.

THE PROBLEM THAT I HAVE IS LIKE MOST PEOPLE WHO IS SUFFERING THE SAME CAUSE . THE PROBLEM IS LOCATION ...CANADA IS A FAR FAR WAY FOR THOSE WHO HAVE TO MAKE THE TRIP . QUESTION IS... WHY IS'ANT THERE A CLOSER LOCATION FOR THOSE SUFFERING UNBEARING PAIN ...I FIGURE WITH SUCH A BREAK THROUGH , THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN REACHING OUT TO THOSE IN DIRE NEED OF TREATMENT ..WHY NOT FLORIDA , ORLANDO EVEN ATLANTA . IS IT THAT YOUR NOT ALLOWED TO PERFORM THES PERCEDURES IN THE U.S.A ??? I COULD WORK WITH THEM IF IT WAS NOT TOO FAR ..
WHY NOT OPEN ANOTHER CLINIC OR HOSPITAL IN THE GOOD OLD U.S OF A.
They docs need to make minor ongoing adjustments to the treatment protocol depending on your particular circumstances. This is very hard to do when the docs that come from China cannot speak English. I realize that the trip to Canada is inconvenient but count yourself lucky. At least you don't have to fly to China. In any event, this is typically a one-time process so you don't have to keep flying back and forth. Like myself, just get it done and never look back.
