I concur, I used to exercise regularly , and when I stopped due to an idiopathic stroke the fibromyalgia got sssoooo bad. When I could return to exercise I was so grateful, it helped reduce my pain by 80%. It also is good to work up a good sweat, of course it releases toxins which also reek havoc on muscles. (it goes without saying good nutrition helps).
Go to another doctor
Horse sht! I'm sick of throwing fibryo at every unknown. I've been experiencing the same things and getting progressively worse. I did my research. And I mean research. meta analysis and chochrane etc etc. I finally found a neuro and he thinks it's stiff person syndrome. The key is finding someone who isn't lazy and who knows about rare conditions. There is a blood test that can be done to see if you have the general marker for stiff person syndrome which used to be called stiff man disease. More women than men get it. Don't let them keep making you suffer. Find the right person. Demand the right help.
Did you ever find out what it was? I'm going down that same path.
Thank you,
KK

I have had these same problems of late my body being sore all the time I work crazy hrs these days so I,m thinkin that has something to do with it I,m gonna try to do more stretching and see if this helps my body feels ok when I exercise its usually the day after and sitting long periods of time
I started suffering as a teen as well and was told it was probably just growing pains. I'm 34 now and it's worse. Keep exercising through the pain.
I HAVE THE SAME PAINS IN THE MORNING WHEN I WAKE UP I'M STIFF HAVE TO LEMP TO THE BATHROOM.....I CAN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE.....I'M SORE ALL THE TIME......I'M TIRED IF IT...
From when I wake ...I can barely move, After awhile I'm better, but once I stop I stiffen up again. My dad, uncle and brothers recommend to do stretches first thing in the morning. My dad said he used to get back aches and ever since he did his morning routine stretches...he hasn't had any more problems. I need to get serious and start stretching and I know this really helps. Kind of funny - I can move good when I am warmed up but forget sitting down.....I stiffen up fast. Good luck to all that have any sickness. Also on a spiritual note, i believe the mind is a very powerful thing and we can actually use this to heal our bodies. And I wonder if all the toxins from everything surrounding us: from chem trails, gmo, water, plastics to electronics, electrical and wireless, prescriptions, misinformation of all we learned, subliminal messages in every everything.
I totally agree. My apartment is full of toxic mold and I work at home. These toxins are very deadly and do a lot of damage to you and will probably kill your pets. If you feel better when you leave your environment there is something wrong with your environment. Too many people think that if they can't see something it doesn't exist. This is a big mistake

can fibromyeglia occurs in 19 tears of age
Bob, I have had these problems since I was 24. I started having head aches and figured it was stress. I am now 71 and still get dull headaches. My scalp has sore spots all over. I am stiff like you are and have to pull on my feet to put socks on. I started taking grape juice and fruit pectin about 3 months ago and it has helped my lower back some. I have had this pain go away for a day just a few times over the years. I never can figure out why except that being happy, excited or angry seems to help the headaches. Caffeine helps me to bend over easier but seems to make my heart beat too fast and at my age it scares me. I get tired real easy and feel that my adrenaline glands must not be in too good shape. After taking the caffeine a few days it doesn't help much. The doctor gave me Celebrex and Amitriptyline and it did help for awhile and then wasn't helping much. I also was turning left on highways going the wrong way. That really scared me. I hope you can find relief somehow. These pains and stiffness has made my life miserable.
