15 years old, hopeful to try out anything I can when I graduate. I've also felt incredibly irritable when I was around 7. I remember how I'd complain all the time about how my underwear was always uncomfortable, but my mom would just leave it alone. I wish I could try tighter, padded bras or compression shirts instead. I don't know, just something else. I've heard some people use compression vests too, which sounds like a really good idea. Sometimes I just tape my nipples down so they don't rub on my bra, but I always get very irritable because my bra always moves around. Tape works for the nipples, but it burns after several times. I would tell my mom, but I'd rather figure it out myself instead of dealing with her misunderstanding. I just want to have them removed. This was the only site I was able to find other people with the same exact problem I was having!! The only thing that works right now is wearing two bras at once. I'm so glad I'm not the only one! Good luck to everyone!
I'm a little frustrated because some of the responders to this post describe feeling pain. Hyperesthesia (hypersensitivity) to touch or grazing is NOT PAIN in this particular condition. It is an extremely strange and horrible sensation. I find it troubling that the only MD that has responded thus far seems to perceive this as a problem with PAIN. Wrong doc!!! Also, I too suffer from what is perhaps a spectrum degree of misophonia. Eating sounds, certain voices, and keyboard typing drives me up the wall. I also have no clitoral sensation - which makes me wonder if it has something to do with the milk line in natal development. It seems to me that this intensely unpleasant sensation when grazed might feel completely different, even pleasing, in a distal and focal (instead of bifurcated) enervated part of the body. It seems like this should be studied by neurology. However, the nut job faction of psychiatrists that have infiltrated neurology will chalk this up as psychogenic...and having something to do with repressed sexual abuse. I wish they could strip those nuts of the credentials to keep peddling their Freudian nonsense. They are holding back neuroscientific inquiry into our problem.
OMFG
I have a theory y’all
I’m almost 35
I have a question for everyone who read the original post and it resonated - as with me - I too had no trauma in adolensence and have healthy sex but this nipple phobia is something I intend to reckon with. At first when I googled this I only found tons of posts about “pain” relating to my “sensitive” google language .... it’s not painful tho - necessarily - I’m learning if maybe the other person takes a certain approach if we are indeed about to feel the nipple pleasure we have heard so much about
FYI my brother has the same unexplainable hypersensitivity !!!!
Hi everyone, I am a 19 year old male and I have the same impossibly irritating problem. I'm so happy I'm not the only one, and as someone has already stated, IT IS NOT PAIN WE ARE TALKING ABOUT. The main reason I sent a message as well is that, at least in my case, I think this awful sensation is at least partly related to my caffeine intake. I say this because, although my nipples had already started to be quite sensitive at the time (due to sexual stimulation), the first time they (suddenly) became as bad as anybody here has described is when I was on a coffee binge and was downing my second full cup. Since then, everytime I drink coffee the sensation comes back, sometimes even a couple days after having drunk it. So now I really don't wanna risk it as I'm 99% sure caffeine (so tea as well) plays a big part in this condition. Hope this information helps.
