I am 28, have had problems with cysts since around age 24, and have had one lovely baby boy since....aaand...am currently pregnant again despite the fact that I was on "the pill" this time. surprise surprise ha ha! I don't think cysts affect fertility as much as we are sometimes led to believe. There seem to be alot of women online who have had similar experiences to mine in their 20's and 30's. Best of luck, and remember, it really does always happen when you're not stressing about it. :-)

I'm 15 and when i was 13 i had an emergency surgery to remove 3 ovarian cysts the size of a softball i didn't think i could get pregnant because my surgery messed up and i asked my doctor if i could have kids in the future and she said Yes, just because i had ovarian cysts doesn't mean i can't get pregnant. and now i am a proud mommy of Aurora Hayden P.(:
(Not putting my last name lol)

I found out I had a ovarian cyst and that i was pregnant at the same time! Sadly in did miscarry. I feel I have a very good Gyno but he could not say for sure if the loss of pregnancy had anything to do with the cyst. However the very best advice for anyone on here is to SEE A DOCTOR about your concerns!!!!! I am thirty years old and have had 2 micarrages. I am still desperately trying to conceive and carry full term so I feel that these sights are a great place for reasurance and hope but keep in mind that every one of us are different and although your situation may sound identical to someone elses only your doctor (and I recomemend a Gyno or specialist) can give you advice specificly for you and your situation. To get the best possible results from your office visit I recomend be completly honest with your doctor and do some research so that you go in knowlegable and prepared. Take a list of your questions and concerns with you so you dont forget anything and remember "theres no such thing as a stupid question". A good physican will be kind, patient and does not judge or let her personl opinions affect her abilitity to do her job. I have been uninsured for years but got into a local clinic whos fee is based on my income. I simply asked the doctor I see there for a refferal to a gynocologist who would see me for the same sliding scale fee (wheres theres a will theres a way!) EVERY WOMAN HAS THE RIGHT TO BECOME A MOTHER!!!! (if she chooses) You are your best advocate and there are many solutions to fertility issues theses days! And if you feel your doctor is not listening or helping with your concerns Get A NEW DOCtOR!!!!! or even a second opinion! Good Luck Ladies! I know the heartache some of you are experiencing and i wish you all happy healthy babies!

Hi, i am 21 and have had a very rough life with constantly being ill and having surgeries, but my biggest concern is that i cannot have children because the last surgery i had was to drain a large complex cyst on my ovary and to remove a vast amount of scar tissue that covered the entire inside of my stomach and had grown out and covered half of one of my ovaries and barely touched the other, the cyst is completely gone now but i have a 3 cm cyst on my other ovary which i am now on birthcontrol to try to get rid of it, this is my first time ever being on birthcontrol, i have always had regular periods but goin on 5 years now i have had unprotected sex many many times with my boyfriend and still have not concieved, i thought it was my boyfriend but this last year i have a new boyfriend and we have been having unprotected sex for about nine months now and still nothing, the dr's say that i should be able to have children without trouble *haha! i have no idea where to go from here i am so lost what could possibly be causing such trouble....i have no children...i am desperate for just one please someone give me some advice!!!
