In am 41 and have a similar bump/knot between vagina and anus, its not really painful, my husband found it a few months ago, we continue to mash on it and it gives up a nasty smelling green pus like substance usually daily, sometimes it wont release anything, its not really noticable but you can feel it under the skin and Im not really sure what it is or what I should do, can anyone offer any suggestion as to what this may be

Okay well im 15 years old female.

and i have a very similiar thing. on the left side between my vagina and anus i have a lump. Its quite painful and i can feel a ball like substance under the surface. Tonight i squeezed it with my nails (clean of course) nothing happened. So then i used a pair of tweezers, it hurt quite alot and there was a bit of blood and pus but once the pus started coming out the lump started going down. The lump is still dripping/ seeping pus. I'm going to squeeze it again tomorrow hopefully its nearlly gone by the time i wake up. I've put on some ointment on the lump and a cotton circle thing. I suggest trying this if you haven't found a way to get rid of it and you don't want to go to the doctors.

The other day, I noticed it was a little sore around that area but I didn't pay any attention. If I had to guess, it would be about the time that I shaved. When I took a shower today, I noticed a bump. It's kinda big, nickel size, and is sore to the touch. I'm kind of nervous about it because I have never had to deal with this before. I just want to know if I have to go to the doctor for it because I don't like to go to the doctor. Thanks.

A LADY AT MY WORK HAD THE SAME LUMP IN HER PERENIUM AREA.  IT BOTHERED ME THAT A WOMAN HAD TO LIVE THIS WAY.  I DID SUM RESEARCH ON INTERNET AND FOUND THAT PERIANAL HEMATOMA  MATCHED SUM OF HER SYMPTOMS.  ITS CAUSED BY HEAVY LIFTING, EXERCISING, COUGHING AND/ OR SIMPLY STRAINING TO USE THE RESTROOM.  ITS VERY PAINFUL WHEN YOU WALK, SIT AND USE THE RESTROOM.  EXCISING BY A DOCTOR WITHIN THE FIRST 48 HOURS, THAT IN APPEARS IS THE WAY FOR SUM RELIEF.  I HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE OUT THERE WITH THE LUMP BETWEEN THE VAGINA AND THE ANUS.

Hello ~

That sounds like what I had off and on for years, and it was a Sebaceous cyst.  Basically a vaginal gland that swells up with fluid and can't drain itself - so you won't notice fluid.  And it can get infected.  I finally had it drained in a procedure that I guess opened a space to let it drain in the future and I haven't had it happen since.  I know how painful it is!!!  A decent GYN should be able to help you...and don't worry - it isn't an STD, or anything serious or to be ashamed of :0)

I had the same thing and it really scared my at first. If you want to pop it the best place to do it is in a hot bath or shower. The hot water will help bring it out more and reduces the pain when pressing on it. It will still hurt, but not nearly as much.

All these posts i'm reading have to do with shaving or something? I personally dont think so, I have one too. I'm a women of older age and I have one child who is a teenager. Impossible to get pregnant again due to operation for that. I dont shave the area between my Butt and Vagina. I've been married for 8 years now, no other sexual partners on my end or his for sure. I had mine for almost 2 weeks now and OUCHY it hurts like heck. Im going to the Drs,I don't know what it is.....

These are pretty common, most of your descriptions do sound like sebaceous cysts or ingrown hairs. I've been shaving "down there" for about 10 years an get these every once in awhile. Sometimes just a hot compress will work by bringing it to a head so it can pop itself, but sometimes it can take several days and manual work. Unfortunately the one I have now is going to be a more difficult one for me as well. Some tips-- if you shave your nether regions, either discard or change out your razor every 2-3 times you shave there, OR soak your razor head in rubbing alcohol after every time you use it. Bacteria stays on razors like you wouldn't believe and is actually the biggest cause for getting sebaceous cysts down there. Also, when you have one of those, make sure you keep it clean and let air get to it. Use hydrogen peroxide for cleaning the area, especially if it's already popped and in the healing process. And if it pops and you see the ingrown hair inside, pluck it out! This will give you immediate relief, I kid you not. It's like night and day. I'm planning on soaking in the tub today, any kindle wet heat or compress is the way to go since it brings it to a head so you can pop it or it can do it on it's own. Good luck everyone!

hi well i thought i was the only person to have this problem ,ive suffered for 4 years and it is ruining my life my doctor never feels the lump ,consipation makes it worse and i cant have intercourse my partner can feel it he very supportive but im at my wits end i dont know what started it , but sitting so uncomfortable ,how do i get some one to help me you can feel it more when i stand up any advice would be amazing thanks

Hi i am 13 and i have a lump between my vagina hole and bum hole but closer to the vagina hole, it doesn't hurt at all but i've had it for quite a while and it's gotten bigger. Its a soft kina lump and when im on the toilet it feels bigger then seems to shrink afterwards. Im kind worrie can anyone els relate:-[

I had sex over 1 month ago from back & front & now i have this ball between my vagina and anus do you have any idea what it is ?!

Hi I am a 38 year old woman who just had a brain surgery.  I've noticed this painful bump in between my vagina and anus it is painful like is described here.  I'm curious is this is something that can happen because of a trauma or something different happens with the body.
