I have same issue but no pain until I went to dermatologist they injected it with a steroid and it swelled and up and got infected extreme pain & swelling. If your doc wants to inject think long and hard. They drained it and told me to have it removed after it healed. 6 mos later another cyst right next to first one. Another 6mos/current no swelling but extreme pain that goes down into leg.
I have one too at the top of my butt crack and it's extremely painful. I've had it lanced five times Joe but it keeps coming back. To have it completely removed, you have to see a surgeon
The only time I get a cyst on my rear is when I drink beer or certain types of alcohol drinks. Is it alcohol or the Yeast in beer that is causing this? Sometimes I can pop them and puss will come out but other times I just feel like there's a knot. Never had these problems before. What is this?
Don't sweat it guy, I had two cysts on my ass before. It hurt to sit directly on them. It is an issue common among men, especially hairy men. I had mine removed. Simple in and out procedure. I have gone cyst free since then for about 8 years. Unfortunately, I think I may have another lol. Such as life. The ass is a sensitive skin area and can contain moisture. Be sure not to rule out a blind zit. The one I have now is dead on my tail bone and just drained. If you wish. I'll keep you posted on the development.

Was it hot to the touch? Was it horrible pain? I keep getting these awful things n I thought it was a spider bite. It's on my butt cheek. I've had 4 since Aug I can't sit ,walk, nothing till it pops n that's very painful too! Not to mention the huge scars they leave!!! It is embarrassing! I hope u got over it! Good luck ty 4 listening.

I had a cyst on the top of my butt crack. I went to the ER and they numbed the area, and cut it open, getting all the puss out. They then had to clean it. It is embarrassing, but I couldn't do it myself.

Yes I had one of these close to my tail bone and they need to clean it out and long procedures for healing. It's a painful process but you must see you doctor asap. Good luck :)
