The best way to treat this is....make a paste out of turmeric powder and apple cider vinegar, put on with a bandage and sleep with it on overnight. The swelling and redness with decrease about 50 percent. If you can stomach turmeric then make what is called "golden milk" and drink it. Turmeric is an anti-inflammatory that will reduce the cyst. Going forward you will need to be aware of your potassium since low potassium starts the cyst in the first place.

I've had these the last few months,and had to have them cut open. It's an infection. One I had to have two surgeries and last one was left open. My bottom,I've had three cut open and put in antibiotics. Go to the doc and have them treat you.
I wouldn't recommend. Depending on what stage the cyst is in all that rubbing friction can cause the cyst to pop and you'll be leaking puss and fluids out

LET ME HELP- I have had this for years. They dont go away, even tried accutane, for 1.5 years. After about 3 days the bump hurts like hell but you can feel that there is fluid inside, its no longer hard. This is embarrassing so go somewhere for about an hour. Take a pin of some sort, break the skin and let it ooze out into a paper towel. Give it a few minutes and rub the bump to loosen up the edges of buildup under the skin and drain again. Keep this up for about 10 minutes. Take Hydrogen peroxide and soak a towel and put it on the sore.
It will continue to leak for a day or two so get some big bandages and put them over the sore. Change multiple times a day, and clean with peroxide each time.

I had a cyst that when felt it felt about the size of a time. It was on my butt but the Dr. said it was on my back. It was very painful. When I had it removed I found out that it was all the way to my back bone. I had it removed 2 weeks ago and I am still in a lot of pain.
I have one right now and I can barely sleep on my back. I also can walk but I'm limping and can't go to work because of it.
