I have also same problem. And I have one hole in skin..sometime it is paining...what should I do?
Great thread and thanks for the experiences.
This is at least the 3rd on my butt. It's been 3 days and the pain is making me sick. I've had surgery on 2 previous cysts. The first surgery was local and was so painful, I insisted on being out the 2nd time. Going to get it looked at tomorrow.
I'm spending 90 minutes a day in the bath. I find I can sit up quite comfortably, if I sit on a large soft pillow.
I'm taking up to 6 ibuprofen a day for the pain. Also taking laxatives every other day to ensure that I don't get constipated. (It's bad enough going to the toilet regularly without having that problem.)
I'm late middle-age, but I do a lot of cycling. I've also had them on my thighs before, but they are just an inconvenience.
Any other recommendations?
P.S. The 1st 2 were on the left, this is on the right. My butt is going to be scarred on both sides.

I left my first as long as I could stand it before going to a clinic. I ended up in ER.
After the first surgery hurt so much under local, I asked to be out the 2nd time.
Also, sweatpants help.
Had cyst lanced today. Once it starts draining the pain is bearable enough to sit down normally almost immediately. The procedure is 15 minutes and the relief is enormous. Heck of a mess though.
What is the cream called?
I am a 59 year old female. I have the so called cyst on my right buttock. I have had surgery once to remove it and it came back. I have been prescribed antibiotics for it twice. It's been about 3 years that this cyst has been spewing out pus and blood. It just won't go away and my doctor and specialist don't know why or where it's coming from. I am tired of calling my doctor about it, so I suffer with it everyday. Wish it would go away and not return, don't know what to
I am yet to have hard lump/cyst removed from my butt, and would like to know if there are any after effects after I have it removed?
