God you people are the reason there needs to be laws against negative IQ numbers. Driving stoned is actually safer than driving sober, if you had half a brain cell you would do some research instead of spouting out complete BS. I will teach my kids that using marijuana is good for them and use it with them when they are old enough. If you disagree, teach your own kids different. What is wrong with this world is everyone trying to ram their beliefs/ideologies/religions etc. down other peoples throats. Religion actually harms children and noone's putting those parents in jail. Oh really? I'm 14 I practically lived with my grand mother when I was a young child and she smoked marijuana heavily around me and she used to take me out to the park she used to make me meals and she always looked after me and if anything it made her more relaxed so I never had to Trod on egg shells so you're trying to tell me that your assumtious opinions are correct over my experience? And I used to always go and sit next to her when she sparked up and give her a cuddle because I liked the smell and when anyone else used to spark up a cigarette I used to walk out the room even as a young child I could see that tobacco was more harmful than marijuana
All of my friends that hqve kids and smoke weed don't ever do it in front of their kids, they only smoke when their childs sleeping or playing in there room. Childrens immune systems aren't as strog as adults obviously, so I wouldn't smoke anything in the same room as them.
You know, I have to say, screw you, to about half of you. "pot doing hurt anyone"?? Really? Because my asthmatic fiance would beg to differ when EVERYTIME his mother lights up a joint he stops being able to breath well and uses his inhaler at a rate the doctors say isn't healthy. We are having to move away just so he can breath! And it's not just him who is affected, the smell, like bad breath makes me want to puke, gives us both terrible headaches, stomach aches, and the phlegm building up in our lungs in rediculous, even when we arent sick we are constantly coughing because the smoke makes mucus build up in our lungs and considering neither of us have related illnesses and neither of us smoke I can assure you its the pot. So those of you saying pot doing hurt anyone, stop lying to yourselves.
Pot is just as addicting as ciggerettes, maybe not the joint itself but the "high" you get from it is. We ran out of money for a week and my mother in law didn't have pot for FIVE DAYS and she was freaking out, bawling her eyes out and begging us for change or any money we had stashed away because she couldn't go another four days until her paycheck came in, never mind that we didn't have any food in the house besides some canned corn and green beans and that the internet had been shut off due to late payment. Nope, drugs came first. Sounds a lot like other folks adicted to "actual" drugs huh?
My own mother does pot, she just started about a year ago and ya know what? Shes already handing out her foodstamp card to strangers to pay for her drugs when she had two teenagers she leaves alone for days at a time that need it. My little sister has started experimenting with pot because my mother lets her and gives her the pot! My mother was arrested trying to steal from a store with my little sister helping her (who thankfully wasn't caught) for drug money (And yes I am doing something about this in the upcoming months.)
So tell yourself whatever lies you like, maybe you're strong enough to resist the addiction, or the willingness to throw everything away for it like some alcoholics can go cold turkey and never drink again like I did but don't ever try to convince me that pot doesn't hurt anyone because it is tearing my family apart and ruining my relationship with my mother in law and killing my fiance.

As for smoking around your children, I believe that is for the parents to decide. It does no harm to children, and if you're that worried about it you could always use a vaporizer which only produces THC vapor. I smoke everyday and I'm a proud parent of a 2 year old with a comfortable life.

bad habbit... i dont think young children should be expozed to drugs or alchohol in young ages..
i have kids who go to their mothers every other weekend they have told me they smoke it off top off a can and everything,then after awhile she falls asleep and the 9 yr old twins are left up alone and the8yr old.i reported this to social services,they said that they would have to proove that smoking weed affects her ability to take care of the kids....what is wrong with the world we tell the kids its bad for ya then dss is saying its alrite to smoke weed as long as it dont affect your ability to do something.

The social media has closed your mind so much that you can not even begin to comprehend that any drug may not be as harmful as they portray, no matter how little research you put into it and of course never try it. Our bodies naturally produce their own form of THC found in cannabis. Marijuana is proven to have no physical addiction, cuts cancerous lung tumor growth in half, can help in increasing lung capacity, and is a great pain reliever. Smoking around people in a room larger than a small car will not get them high and exposing them to marijuana will not result in mental health problems, and will not even increase the chances of them becoming users themselves. I say, speed, meth, heroine, pills, etc. you shouldn't do however Cannabis, LSD and Shrooms will if anything have a positive affect on you.

my parents smoked grass all my childhood. my dad once threw a chair though the kitchen window, used to regurly beat up my mum and my mum was violent too. i am the eldest of 6 children and often used to be in charge of them. i knew from a early age that how to phone the police. i dont know how we were all not put into care and if it all happened this day and age i know we would be put into care straight away. 3 out of 6 of us had epilepsy and im not blaming it all on my dad and mum smoking grass but it didnt help ! as both parents drunk alot too i think it was a comination of things. i think people should have a licience to have children !
That is the fault of the alcohol, not weed. That whole story sounded like drunk parents then you mentioned drinking at the end. My parents never hit me with or without weed.
