As they 62.8% of statistics are made up, I want real statistics from real citations and real studies, but I can never find the link when people make all these 'scientific fact' statements.

I am a busy, self employed mother of two who smokes daily because it helps me to be a better mom by slowing me down, allowing me to see the humor in things and to be more present with my kids. I don't smoke in front of them but want to because I don't want to hide something that I treasure so much.

Like are you serious.... Your gonna say smoking cigarettes is better. How many chemicals does cigarettes have? marijuana has NONE. Neither are good to smoke upfront of your kids.. But I damn sure rather smoke weed before a cancer stick in front of them. Cigarettes kill marijuana heals.

A lot of legal things are bad for you. Alcohol and cigarettes kill thousands of people a year while marijuana doesn't. Pharmaceutical companies routinely over prescribe narcotics equivalent to heroin (OxyContin/oxycodone and Codiene) to children and the elderly and that's legal as well. The FDA approves of chemicals in the food at your grocery store that are linked to birth defects. Marijuana is 100% safer than everything I listed and it's still illegal because of propaganda that ignorant people believe. Conservatives usually vote against marijuana and they are traditionally the most politically active party vs the liberal party that vote for the use of medical marijuana so in a lot of states the law doesn't pass. Legalize it!! :)

You should lay off the pot. No one ever said out contains more tar than cigerrettes. It does though potentualy f**k your teeth, health , and head (don't worry to much though your brains not important really).
My mum smoked heroin in front of me and grew weed. It never traumatised me so go do that. #heroin has less tar in it to.. so it must be fine then

Unless u are a adult,u shouldn't have a choice in breathing in any smoke,cigg.or weed.Let them grow,have a choice.we are a child's protector,smoking that sh*t in front of them is crazy,and in my opinion should be considered abuse.i am on this page because I Googled the effects of smoking weed in front of children,my daughter smokes with my grandaughters in the house,it's neglect.period.

Smoking Cannabis around Children should be a classed as a crime. It slows their learning. And secondhand smoke is just as dangerous for Children as Cigarette smoke is. Smokers are always going to defend it, it is the Human greed gene we all have, some more than others. To think it is okay to smoke it around young ones, well you need your heads tested, you are all obviously suffering delusions. Do yourselves a favour, lock your Kids up, Social Services are coming for them. Ignoramus dolts! Changes in your lungs can be caused by cigarettes and cannabis.

I don't think it is fair to have your children around any personal use their parents have when they can't even voice their own opinion. As a parent it is your job to protect your child. Please
remember you are your child's voice. I think it would be wiser not to have any child around yourself when you want to get high. Why take any extra risk? As we have learned in the past, most studies usually change there minds on issues all the time. Why take a chance on your child's health?
