Were you successful getting a diagnosis? I have been having similar symptoms for 18 months. I too have had a difficult time getting urologists to take the pain seriously. It seems clear that the epididymis has been damaged, has a cyst, or (as your are concerned) is cancerous. In my case, I think it was tramatized and therefore damaged. I'm searching for a doctor/surgeon with the expertise to perhaps repair it. And I worry about the affects on my sex life. It is difficult to get answers to any of these questions. I would appreciate any updates on your progress finding answers.
Hey man,
I'm having the same issues. I'm your exact age. Can we connect somehow to discuss?
Hey Shopkins,
Your story sounds similar to mine. I am 29. It started a few months back where I hard some burning when I peed. Then I had an episode a few months ago where I suddenly had major pain and swelling in my right testicle. I waited a day or so before I went to the doc, but they diagnosed it as epididymitis and gave me doxy. The swelling went down quickly, but a small little lump on my cord stayed, along with some tenderness. It's been over 3 months now and I keep getting put on antibiotics to clear it up with no success. My testicle is mildly sore, and i get pain in my pelvic / pubic area as well, seemingly along where the sperm cord runs. My prostate is also causing me trouble. I urinate alot, and it's tender and I can feel it flaring up from time to time. No idea what's going on or what I should do... I also think my cord was traumatized by the epidytamitis and is now permanently scarred or affected. Not sure what to do....
I have exactly the same problem except the constant need to pee. My pain and swelling happens a few hours after ejaculation, normally after urination.
I must apologize, I totally forgot a bout this thread. I know it's been over a year, if you're still there , how has the situation been for you?
I get that pea sized lump too once in a while but it clears up and goes away by itself. The body is capable of healing itself too. Probiotics can help strengthen your immune system to fight disease. The body needs vitamins too for healing itself. Eat a healthy diet and relax. Doctors can cause more harm than good sometimes because they dont have the time to diagnose properly.
mate go kick the dr in the bollox and see how he likes it im having the same problem ,so will be off to dr tommorow
hello! just tell me something, you fill releif when you ejaculate for some minutes?
Well i havent posted in a good while.
here is an update,
Pain is still there.
when i ejaculate my testicles seem to hurt. I would say if i dont ejaculate for about a month , after ejaculating there would be no mild pain. But i ejaculate after lets say the next day , i would have pain.
sometimes id feel what i think is sperm moving theough the spermatic cords from the testicles, kinda like spasms, which in turn i get mild pain.
my sex life has pretty much deminished.
I now avoid sex, ejaculation, porn. Any sexual because of how its going to ache.
How has everyone in here been about theirs?
(I am 48) I too have had a ultra sound done on my testicles when I found two small pea size shapes on my testicle. How ever there is no reason for me to have an infection because I had a vasectomy 8 years ago. When I go the test results back the the doctor did not seem to alarmed but that did not give me comfort and ask for me to see an urologist. I have been reading of others and it appears to non treating, but I did learn of a "blow out" which makes sense to me, basically a blocked hoses that can rupture. Let’s use an analogy of a 40-year-old fire hose. You hook this fire hose up to a hydrant and turn on the water. Let the hose represent the epididymis portion of the testicles and the vas deferens, which would measure some 20 feet in length if stretched out, and let the water represent the 50,000 sperm cells a minute that a man’s body manufactures, even after vasectomy.
Now, tie a knot in the fire hose. What happens? Something is going to rupture, right? That’s why fire departments don’t use 40-year-old fire hoses, and why men develop ruptures in their testicles after their vas is tied off during the vasectomy procedure. I wish I would have never had the procedure done, not saying that is what caused mine but does make sense. here is a link to what I found, hope it helps. ***edited by moderator*** web addresses not allowed
