I'm not sure where you are located, but I am in Canada and I'm able to pick up Canus soap at Wal-Mart and most drug stores!

Oh, is that the name of the brand? At least with a name like that I can order it online. I usually have my groceries delivered so that will help a lot. Thank you :)

hey well just like the rest of u, i have exactly same problems!!! i gave birth around a year ago and suffered the same problems a month later, but after i quickly healed up! its bin 11 months and the exact same symptoms have come back!! so i changed my diet!

i think with alot of us we are eating something which isnt suiting our bodies, i basically ate alot more fiber foods and TONS of WATER.
no creams workd me i let it heal natural way. having one soak a day helps and not straining ureself when going to the loo!

if u dont change your diet to fibrous foods the area will always stay sore, and u must remember good hygiene.
i actually cant beliv that there isnt a medical explanation or cure for this!!

any way i hoped this helped cuz it seems to be working for me!!

I'm two years into this problem. Often, the intense itching I am forced to do causes my skin to break and bleed. It heals very fast and usually I repeat this once a day. It is such a nuisance considering the doctors can't do anything intelligent about it.

I've found that washing hot/warm water in the shower on the area helps and so does applying Vitamin E oil around the area (beware -- causes "slimy" feeling for a few minutes.)

I'am having the same problem with my...areas. It started in the last months of 2008 when i started to get large amounts of discharge from my vaginal area. Then after 2 days of the discharge my anal area began to itch... it itches horribly, to the point where i get a terry cloth rag and rub it until it bleeds. It sounds so embarrassing because no one else, where i live, has the problem. I know for a fact it's not pinworms because there are no (evidence) worms and I had a tape test done and there were no eggs, there are swollen lumps around the anus but when i look with a mirror there isn't anything, the only thing i could think of was bacteria but now when i wash. one of my MAIN targets to wash is my bottom. It is hard to wash it though because i have scratched it so much that there are cuts and when i wash it burns. It's so disgusting and i'm completely out of options. I can't tell anyone because I made the mistake of telling my hill billy mother and she made it into a joke that I need to wipe better and that I have fecal matter on my butt. she doesn't care about the discharge either.

After reading all of these posts I am wondering if any of you were on any antibiotics before they noticed these symptoms of itching/burning? Symtoms of itching/burning may occur even several months after taking these types of medications due to a intestinal flora imbalance.

Once you start using wipes, it is disgusting to imagine not using them. After using them for years, my husband began to have the same problems you are describing. He suspected the wipes, and stopped using them, and the irritation disappeared in less than a week. Since he wasn't sure the wipes were the cause, he tried them again, then stopped again when symptoms reappeared. I bought Pampers "Kandoo" wipes for SENSITIVE skin, and my husband hasn't had a problem since using those for over a year now (maybe 2). Once, we ran out of Kandoo, and he tried to use the Cottonelle (I kept using them b/c we still had a ton of them from Costco, and I personally never had a problem). Sure enough, the irritation and burning returned with the Cottonelle. I now buy Pampers Kandoo Sensitive wipes in bulk off of the internet, b/c it is often out at the store, and it is very hard to find. They're more expensive than Cottonelle, but worth it.

I've had itchy ass problems for years. I'm 33(M) now but when I was in college and would study a lot I would get irritation after sitting in a hard wooden chair for hours. However, back then I would play a full round of golf (18 holes, which is 4-5 miles of walking) carrying my own clubs with no issues. In my mid twenties I would get the sharp concentrated itching rash down there and a rash on my lips at the same time so I pinned it down to a certain food in my diet and cut it out. However, back to my early 20's I started noticing that playing a full round of golf, but using a cart this time rather than walking and carrying my clubs, would really irritate my ass good. This was weird 'cause it never happened to me in college. I did notice when I was 18 that when I started a new job requiring some mild manual labor I did have irritation, but it went away as my body got used to the labor. Now, if I'm on my feet most of the day, play golf, walk a long distance, or have a day full of workouts such as running etc I get irritation. The one time I went to a doctor for this he said he had the same thing. Everything was normal looking down there he said and just prescribed the use of baby powder which wasn't really for me. For me mostly its the chafing (sp). Although I am fit I do think that my ass is slightly more flabby than it once was in college...so this would me more skin to chafe. And when you are on your feet a lot you sweat down there which makes it 10X worse. So i'm going to concentrate on losing some body fat, and exercise more so my body can cope better when i'm on my feet for long periods. Oh...and I too have noticed that this became a serious issue after I starting using a Britta Water filter. I've been using this thing religiously for the past ten years. So i plan to try another filter out. And lastly I think I'm a bit too harsh sometimes when I wipe...so i'll try better toilet paper and be careful and very clean. As it stands now I notice that a half hour or so after a bowel movement I need to wipe a little again. Perhaps there is a leaking issue??? But again this mostly comes from strenuous activity for me.

You may think this is odd, but try baking soda. Put water on your finger, dip it in baking soda, and cake it on. Don't leave it there long because it burns. After a minute, get in the tub and let it wash away. Out of curiosity, I tried this. I noticed whenever I have a cold sore in my mouth, if I put baking soda on it, it leaves in a day or 2. So i figured, if my mouth can take it. Why not my rear. When ever, I get a fissure, I put some on a couple times a day. And it is gone in a few days. It use to take weeks. This may not work for some, but it works for me. Changing your diet I also a good thing, but, it is tough. Bathroom tissue can also cause problems.

I FOUND A CURE!!!! Hello I have been suffering with the same problem that everyone has talked about here for over two months. I have tried everything I can think of and nothing has worked. At first I thought I had hem. but that cream only burned more than cure. I've tried yeast infection medication because well the itching burning sensation felt almost the same but that failed also. I tried bacitracin oint. thinking it should be treated like a sore. I used Hydrocortisone 1% but then heard it can thin the skin and shouldn't be used past one week. I've taken sitz baths which helps a little, cotton underwear only, diaper rash oint. which did help some but nothing was really making it better. I was so happy when I found this site because I finally felt there was someone who understood what I was going through. Do you know how many weird looks I've received from girlfriends, family and my boyfriend for talking about my vaginal and ass pain. After researching "our" problem I found CURE!!!!! Finally! Its Baneol Hygienic Cleansing Lotion. I bought it at walgreens for 13.99 a small 3 oz bottle expensive but SO worth it! And a little goes a long way. OMG! I used it last night and instantly my perineium, vag. opening and anus felt normal!! Today there is no pain, no burning, no itching!!! For the first time in months I don't want to pull my hair out. I'm thinking sex with my boyfriend might be okay now. LOL Sorry I'm just so damm excited that my peri area is almost back to normal. WoW one never thinks they will say those words. Anyway, This morning I felt around down there and no longer did it feel dry raw and painful to touch. It is barely tender kinda like the fire is out but you can still see the smoke, I think using this every time I'm in the bathroom and it will go away completely cuz just after one time I can't believe the results. I looked at their website and there are many with amazing stories. It really works everyone. Stop with all the creams and attempts that fail. I know how you feel, it's been terrible and I don't even know what triggered it, just one day it hurt and burned. Think about all the suffering you've already been through and all the money you've spent trying to get relief, what's 13.99 more, trust me! Please email me after you've tried it, I'm so looking forward for hearing your story. I know that's kinda weird to ask but I just want to know if this helps everyone as much as it has helped me. ***this post is edited by moderator *** *** private e-mails not allowed **
