Try Selson Blue. The kind with the Salycilic acid. Don't try and use this on your body! It's shampoo not body wash. It's made for your scalp. I get those pimples on my head and some on my face for which Proactive works great. Gotta stick to it though. Morning and nights before bed. And some people have to take two showers a day. Some don't. The Head and Shoulders with sea salts works pretty well. It just doesn't work great. Just don't use conditioner!! Or the 2 in 1 that has conditioner in it. I can't anyway. I use the Head and Shoulders in the morning and the Selson Blue for people with normal to oily hair with Salycilic acid at night. I do the Proactive for my face twice a day but you need to be careful with products containing Salycilic acid (and Peroxides) because they can dye your clothes! Just use those products on your face and hair NOT your neck or you'll dye your shirt collars and that looks bad too. Don't use them if your planning on going to the gym or going out sweating ie bike riding, playing bball or whatever. The sweat will push out of your pores. Just shower as soon as you can afterword. Or just make sure you use those wicking aftificial materials to work out in if you have to use salycilic acid or peroxides because those chemicals can't stain them. I use Cetaphil on my body and that seems to work well without clogging pores and it's not medicated but it's seems to work for me. It's really gentle. I hope this helps for everyone.

^^^info about potential problem
To everyone here: they could be sebaceous cysts if they keep coming back in the same spots. "If the cyst becomes swollen, tender, or large, your doctor may drain it or perform surgery to remove it."
I have these cysts around my eyes and a couple on my head that keep coming back. It's embarrassing to have these where everyone looks!
Doctors or specialist won't help without a charge or insurance. So what then?
I had this problem as well, though not as bad as some. For me the problem was always using either a moisturizing shampoo or conditioner or both. I switched to a clarifying and everything cleared up in about three weeks. Hope this helps.
I have had the same problem since I was 15 years old, I am now 32. I know this doesn't give you guys much hope for it going away anytime soon, but everyone is different and I have found a couple of different things that help. Unfortunately Antibiotics are one of the things that I must take everyday to keep the swelling down to a minimum. Minocycline 100mg 2x a day works great, but I don't like to stay on it for too long because you can build a tolerance for that type of antibiotic. Sulfex is a Sulfer antibiotic that works great too, and you do not build a tolerance for it. From my understanding, It basically gives you an enzyme that prevents the bacteria from reproducing. Daily exercise and sweating really does help clear out your pores, just make sure you take a good hot shower immediately after and be sure to spray down gym equipment after use to prevent bacteria from spreading to others. Head and Shoulders and other like shampoos are great too. It is the selinium sulfide and charcoal in special shampoos that are the active ingredient. Accutane is another really good medication that probably works the best. It is, however, very expensive and you have to have a doctor with a certain certification to prescribe it. You also have to have several followups throughout your treatment period while on the medication. Despite the bad reputation it has for side effects, they are usually pretty mild. Longer term studies have been conducted over the years for people on the medication, and they have found that the side effects are not as common or severe than initially though. I hope that this helps, and I hope that there is a cure that is discovered sometime in the near future for all of us.
I'm 12 , and i started getting pimples on the back of my head :(
Sup yall, these things suck, sad thing is the do not go away, you can do whatever you want, theyll be gone for a while but they just come back again. Ask your pharmasist for Ilotycin SolutioN TS, this is a product for acne. Apply it twice a day and keep the hair short. The stuff burns when you apply but you get used to it and it keep the pimples at bay.
LOL..No it's not because of drinking alcohol, how dumb. i do not drink and have them on the sides and back where my hat line is.. I have cut my short. I've used hand sanitizer, baby powder, baking soda, peroxide, rubbing alcohol, neosporiun, dial soap (for oily skin); i thought maybe it was my sleep medicine since i work thirds but not it. I'm gettin the debumper 2 and let you all know in couple weeks.
i thisnk the bump stopper is when you shave and you get rashes.....hes talking about actual pinples
