Hey girls, I'm only 15 and I have had them for a while they bother me so much especially when I'm with a guy. I'm happy that they're normal I just wish I didnt have them so young. It's hard enough that I have to become comfortable with my new body shape going through puberty but this just seems the make things harder :( ughh

it is such a relief to find out they are not a big deal. i've been picking on them since i was 14-15 and i am 21 now. they have got bigger and more and more seemed to appear so i stopped. However the whiteheads dont seem to go away. Does anyone know how to treat these? Does tretionin cream really work or is there sth else i should try?

So I literally just found one yesterday and got all freaked and it sounded like it was a pimple so I did pop it... so it could have been a bad thing then? And I have never had this happen to me should I possibly be worried about being pregnant?

I understand that these are in fact, normal. However, I'm only nineteen now and discovered them when I was like sixteen. I continued to keep popping them and now I have a rather large on located on my aureola, next to my nipple. It doesn't really have a head but when I press it together to pop, the top of it kind of inverts into my nipple. It hurts and when it does pop, a large amount of puss comes out. No matter how much puss seems to pop, it continues to grow back to size and sometimes it hurts. I know you're going to tell me to go to the doctor, I like to think that if I took it upon myself to research it on the net, that I'm not that dense and intend on taking this matter to a medical professional. But, has anybody experienced a large one? Probably from infection or popping too frequently. I'm already self conscious about my breasts that I would rather have them without large growths on them?

I'm 13 and I noticed In the shower that I have like 2? And because of puberty at my age, I thought that was the cause of them. So I popped them of course, as I would any pimple, and white stuff exited, followed by a smalllllllll amount of blood. As I'm seeing, this is normal. I'm too embarrassed to ask my mom or pediatrician. Thanks though, this eases my nerves(:

Hi,this is awkward for me because I am a boy and I have develpoed a pimple UNDER my nippple. Its very embarrassing so its hard for me to give the details but it hurts and when I squeeze the area its under, puss comes out of the side of my nipple.Remember,I'm a BOY.Not a girl.Anybody know what this is?I am worried as its under the nipple instead of on or around it.

I'm only 14 years old and I have right now what you say a "pimple" on my areola. It actually hurts though. I have popped it once and it was a pretty gruesome amount of I guess "puss" that came out. I'd really like to get rid of it!!

Ok here's another way to look at it girls....when you are close with your boyfriend, husband, significant other etc. and you kiss his chest or area around his nipples do you or have you ever noticed if he has the same small bumps? I bet you haven't and its because its the last thing you would be looking for-very insignificant...huh? Now relax, stop worrying....Montgomeries are cute!

I had the exact same questions. I can tell you from personal experience, that it will clear up faster than you would believe. It will not hurt the baby. My doctor told me even with pimples on my nipples and areolas, the colostrum acts as a disinfectant. So you have absolutely nothing to worry about.

I.ve got the exact same problem with a really large one. I.ve only been able to pop it entirely once and it was a ton of stuff that came out. It gets worse and worse the more I try to do it again, so what I.m assuming from these posts is that I should stop and maybe they.ll shrink down.

By the way, I find that cocoa butter helps them heal quickly and less scabby and painfully.
