Not to accuse your b/f but it could be possible that he may have lied to you about the last time he ejaculated. My girlfriend and I have used this method over the last three years and it has worked just fine. I would allow 24 hours for safety. The acidity in urine is to evasive for the sperm (hence the primary purpose of the pre-cum, to nutralize the acid of the urine). But being completley honest is a selfish issue that some but not all men have. For the people that wish to continue these activities I suggest tracking your cycle to predict the safest time. There are so many different theories of the safest time so I would suggest going the 5 day rule. Not doing this three days pre-ovulation and two days post ovulation (obviously this includes the day of ovulaton, so it'd really be 6 days). I also suggest that you talk to your doctor to get clear answers as the internet can sometimes be misleading. That's their job. They're not there to judge and there are strict confidentiality laws. Some women are extremely fertile, but some men lie about jerking off too.

Don't freak out! My boyfriend and I recently had sex and I'm not on birth control. He put it in me for about 10 seconds tops without a condom and then put a condom on for the rest of our time having sex. This was about a week ago and since then I have been FREAKING out because I thought I could be pregnant from his precum. I was supposed to get my period very, very soon after that and didn't get it all week. I was so nervous that I googled the chances of pregnancy from precum and read almost every entry. I found out that precum does not contain sperm itself but sperm can exist from previous ejaculations, if the male hasn't peed after his last ejaculation. Otherwise, urine should kill all other sperm. I was so nervous so I just decided to take a test because I needed to know. I took a test and got a negative result and two hours later, my period came. Moral of the story: I did not get pregnant from precum and sometimes stress/anxiety can cause your period to be delayed. Also, always use protection!

Well, theres been some controversy over whether pre cum contains actual semen, but pre ejaculate itself does not contain semen at all. Although, if there is residue semen from a previous ejaculation in the mans urethra, the pre cum can pick up it on the way out. Now that said, if it's been five days since ejaculated before intercourse then your fine because the semen will have died. If I've masturbated a day or two before, then there's a pretty good chance that there is semen in there. The good news is one urination can fully clean out the semen in your urethra. So if you've had two or three urinations then your good too. And I'm sorry but the people that are on here sayin that I TGIF pregnant from pre cum. I'd lime to tell you that you didn't get pregnAnt from precum. Your partner didn't know when to stop and he nutted in you. Maybe just alittle bit you had seminal fluid shot inside you and he pulled out just in time to pass alittle bit more outside your vagina but he still got some in their. Hope this helps

i'm in the same boat as you rex, i had sex with my g/f during her ovulation but i didn't orgasm, she said I had precum but I didn't notice that I did. I had masturbated about 9 hours before we had sex, but had urniated at least once between ejactulations. she took the morning after pill the day after we had sex but i'm still worried. it seems like she becomes pregnant very easily so i'm still worried, even knowing i was working with a lowered sperm count, had peed before we had sex at least once if not more times, and that she took the morning after pill. I have about 3.5 weeks to wait yet though so we both are scared. can't seem to find any real information about semen in the precum, just evidence to support yes and no...definately confusing!!!

Err I have a couple questions.

I have a question...... Me and my girlfriend had sex for the first time at a party. I used a condom and everything. I ejaculated into the condom and then i went to the washroom to wipe my penis off with some toilet paper. My penis was moist before I wiped, but I'm not sure if it was from the lube or the jizz inside the comdom. Anyways, I wiped my penis but I don't remember if I wiped the tip of my penis. I put my boxers and stuff back on so if there was anything left, it got wiped off by my boxers. After about 5 minutes, me and my girlfriend had sex again, this time, no condom. I did it for literally about a minute max, so I didn't jizz. I'm just scared that there was left over semen from the sex we had 5 minutes before. So here are my questions: 1. Is there a chance that there was semen still on my penis, even after wiping and putting my boxers on 5 minutes before we had sex for the second time. 2. And if there was, was there enough to get my girlfriend pregnant??

I had unprotected sex 11 days ago, he didn't cum inside me and it was 7 days before my period was due but now I am 5 days late. I am unbelievably bloated, I have cramps, more discharge than normal etc. I'm hoping my worrying about the situation is to blame for my late period.  I've bought a first response pregnancy test but I think it's too early to do one? The general consensus is to do it a few days after your period is due but because mine was due so soon after intercourse I'm not sure on when I can get an accurate result!
