Today is the same. Still crazy pressure in my lower belly and rectum(could I say rectum any more? lol) Still bad lower back pain. My lower belly is the worst today then everything else. It hurts when I walk, cough, laugh push on it. Its not horrible pain but about a 7-8 on a pain scale of 1-10...I'd be happy for some Rx pain killer about now. So no constiption throughout these 2 days. No bleeding. I am eating ok...altho the first 24hrs I puked a few times. No real appetite but not pukey. Tylenol does nothing. If i sit straight on my butt it hurts and causes more pressure.
Anyone know what this could be? Is it something serious or not. I thought it was just bad gas at first...but this dosn't seem like bad gas...its different. The pain isn't like cramps. It does not come in waves like cramps. Its just a constant pain. And I am not constpated at all. I still go #2 in the moring and occasionally later in the day. Going #2 does not relieve the pain or pressure at all.
Thanks for any help.
you may need to see your doctor.
I remember a few years back I didn't have a "normal" bowel movement schedule, I has serious pain, shakes abs fever like symptoms (it was a ways beech so its hard to remember exactly). I went to the doctors and he had told me, basically, that feces has entered my bloodstream and was poisoning me- hence the symptoms.
Remembering this, I took what he told me to that time - Citro Magnesium. Its clear and liquid, you buy it at any pharmacy (here in Canada) without a prescription. You drink it and them it kicks in about 30min to 1hour later. It makes you have diarrhea. It cleans out all the toxins. I took it approximately 5hours ago and feel better, mind you ive been on the Riley pretty much nonstop. At first it hurt to go to the bathroom sure to the pressure in my rectum. I actually leaped up because of the pain... But it got better and the pain less severe. Before the Citro-Magnesium my pain was a 9 out if 10, now its a 6 out if 10. Its actually tolerable. I'm still mildy nauseous, minor stomach cramps and very minor rectal pressure (almost non existent). if the pain comes back tomorrow, as it is late tonight, I will post on here again. I am hoping this is the cure and not just a quick fix.
Even thought I thought I had a fairly normal bowel movement, I guess not. Too much feces left in your body will line the walls and basically poison you.
I hope this works for you because I thought I was dying it was so bad!!
Prepare for about 8 hours at home if you take it. I took more than what the bottle said to make sure I clear everything it of my system... Not fun but it got rid of the pain!
Am here reading this because I searched for these similar symptoms. Am yet to see a physician, but am in pain..exact same feeling. My case however is different because Ive got hemorrhoid. I have no way of knowing if they are related...but I sure don't feel good...I have resolved to consult a physician maybe'morrow
you have diverticulitis. Please check yourself into a hospital asap.
OMG this is the same symptoms i have been having for the last two months i dont know what to do. I have been to doctors and so far the pain has not gotten any better. HELP
I have this same problem. Pressure in my lower abdomen, and pain in my lower back and rectum. The pain is so bad that I get nauseated and sweat. It kept me up at night, too. I have hemorrhoids, but I don't think they are related to the pain. I know mine is female problems. I took low dose estrogen (birth control pills) for the last year (skipping the week off) to avoid having a period because I am menopausal. Have not had this problem since I went on the estrogen. I went off off the pill a week ago to see if they were causing my dizzy symptoms. But, I would rather be dizzy than feel like this again. I believe it has something to do with ovulation. I would go to the ER, but they would probably only give me pain killers (which causes constipation). Heat and ibuprofen seems to help me.
I am feeling the same way. I am having this pain for 3 months now. I also have this hemorrhage that they said will disappear after your first trimester. But not in my case.. My doctor gave me 6 shots already to cure the hemorrhage but it only adds the pain. Its my 4th month now and still suffering with the pain. I will see another doctor for second opinion.
Taking such things for constipation can make your body become dependent upon them, been there done that. I have had these symptoms for many years and many tests. Turns out I have IBS, irritable bowel syndrome. It sucks and I still haven't found anything to help balance things out so I take meds to coat my stomach, excessive gas and indigestion, and something for the cramps and spasms. Good luck on your quest for relief. Again I use to take laxatives and had to retrain my body to go on its own, please beware.
Diverticulitis that's what these symptoms sounds like to me I have the same problem. Don't strain when you go to the bathroom and make sure that you eat enough fiber. I have to have a colonoscopy in may to see how bad the weakness is in my colon. The colon ends up with pouches and feces and other things collect in them and cause an infection. Try taking fiber supplements to help stay regular and I hope you guys feel better soon.
