I used to have excruciating gall bladder attacks! I found a website which has helped tremendously!

I began to identify certain foods which would trigger attacks and now do not eat them. Foods which trigger attacks vary from person to person and it is not always fatty foods. Eggs and shrimp are foods I no longer eat and others I eat in moderation, such as dairy. Bottom line, I have eliminated the attacks through changing my diet and taking supplements. It has lead to me eating healthier which is a good thing. I have decided to not have surgery unless absolutely necessary. Good luck!

Hi all. I had.have this same issue. 50 years old. Drink more than my share over the years and partied it up way to much. Liver tests normal, slight elevation but nothing of major concern. I was FREAKED out anyway....cancer? Liver disease? Got a call from the doc today and she said I have fatty liver and a cyst on my liver. She doesn't think that is what causes the symptoms but anyway I am ridiculously relieved I don't have anything life threatening. Bottom line is I intend to cut out the alcohol and shitty food and live a cleaner life. I think for those of us with anxiety about our symptoms there is a reason for it. Anyway I know this isn't really helpful for most of you as it isn't the AHA! answer we are all looking for...stay healthy my friends.

I am sure it has something to do with the gut, food we eat and food sensitivities (intolerance).
I used to live in Europe and I was perfectly healthy, could eat whatever I want, didn't know what is bloating, what is brain fog and other nasty stuff. When I moved to US, just a year later I started having problems with my stomach! And it never stopped and then 4-5 years later finally came up with everyday bloating, diarrhea, pressure at the right side of my abdomen, constant brain fog. My blood tests showed bad sensitivities to a lot of different foods, including meats, nuts, fruits and veggies. Not even talking about dairy and gluten.
I was 6'1" and 200 lbs at the peak of the problems. Since I gave up sugars, dairy and gluten, my weight dropped significantly and now it's the same as it was 10 years ago. I also fast from time to time. It helps a lot! I mean real FAST, when you only drink water or nothing at all. Believe me, that pressure under ribs has been significantly reduced. I still get it sometimes, but not everyday, like used to! I am planning to get back to gym and hopefully I'll bring my health back completely. But make sure to research a lot about fasting. It's not a toy and it may be really hard mentally in the beginning. There are some details and if you do it wrong way, you will gain no profit at all!
