just wondering if anyone here are everyday weed smokers (bongs)? I've been smoking for 2 years and have had these weird stomach noises for about a 10 months now, resembles noises as a child when I was hungry or something, but they're just really loud gurgling noises, like the noise someone makes just before they throw up, it's really annoying, I stopped smoking for 2 months and still had the noises so I don't know. It's rather confusing.

Hi my friends,

I had the exact same issue with stomach noises for 5 years, but it even got worse for me and the noises spreaded to my colon (near rectum), there problem was that I didn't have any pain at all, only noises and bloating. But,I am happy to tell you that I finally found the cause and the cure. It was a huge struggle for me to overcome this issue, and now I wanna share it with you, if you are determined then you can hopefully overcome it but you should be serious otherwise you would never defeat this issue and it will eat you alive for many years.

I noticed that in the classroom the noises become more frequent and while at home there is not much so I immediately recognised that one factor as ANXIETY. So what I did I discussed it with my parents and went to psycologist. the psycologist gave me Zoloft which helped me a lot BUT that wasn't all. I discussed this with doctor and the University and eventually got one year off from University to live without stress, classes were killing me to be honest with you.

The other thing I did was searching internet to find any additional cure and I found this product called probiotic "inner health" (prime defense in USA). That Also work like a magic and helped me a lot, and I mean A LOT!!

It is embarressing to say this part but I will tell anyways. During this time I never tried to hold back gas in my tummy, because it was really making my stomach uncomfortable so I preferred my comfort to my brothers' :))

during this time I constantly did some sports that had lots of running invloved, like soccer and tennis to improve my physical condition (at the beginning I couldn't even run for 3-4 minutes but my body got really strong to a point that I could run for 2 hours non-stop!)

after 3 months I was like a whole new person. the problem was gone compeletly and I was very happy but I didn't stop there. I kept taking the zoloft for another 3 months and probiotics for rest of the year. and sporting at least twice a week.

in the 6th month, I used to wear a sweat-shirt with hat and go to a public library far from my house to simulate the classroom's environment. and I realised that the problem is really gone, there was no noise at all :).

During that year-off, I took the life easy to myself, I didn't let anything to bother me. I went to Paris and Rome for three weeks (thanks to my parents who understood my situation) just to relax and have fun. ALSO to mention that I planned to eat healthy food on time every day and also to have enough sleep every day on time.

now it's been 4 years and here I am healthy without noises and discomfort, and living my life like a new person.

Do these steps and I promise you, you are gonna live happily once again ;)

take it easy and goodbye

After looking through both my intestines and stomach, turns out my whole stomach lining is red but they havent found anything elts yet. They took some samples and ill be finding out whats wrong with me next week. If i were u go for the tests because life sucks knowing you could have pain at any moment.

I suffer with the same problem. I go to a university and the classes are quiet and the noises so loud!! I've even been thrown into severe anxiety attacks before class because I was worried about the noises happening during class. So far I have not discovered solution except for sitting out of a desk, against a wall. This seems to help the most but its really embarrassing to get up from class and sit against the wall. I've gotten some of the weirdest looks from people, its hard to decide what's more embarrassing, sitting against the wall, or stomach noises. I've tried every way imaginable to try and 'muffle' these noises but it just doesn't work. Thankfully all of the teachers I have spoken to about my problem and the only solution I've found yet, have been really supportive and understanding.

Hi guys it sounds like a lot of people on here might have food intollerances, I have the same problem but only worse than a lot of you describe. I recommend you take a record of what you eat, I've noticed it gets worse for me as I get older I'm 37 now). The biggest culprits are dairy products like cheese and milk (eggs are usually okay), wheat (one of the worst) and even some vegetables like mushrooms, chillies and even coffee. Unfortunately I suffer from all of those but in that order of from worst to mildest.

Hey guys. I have the same issue especially while Im in class. I buy a large cup of hot yes with no sugar or milk and it helps. Sometimes hot water is fine. But it doesn't fix it forever, it just lasts up until the time you eat again.

Did you ever find out what it was that was causing the stomach noises? I've had stomach noises too for the last few months. I ended up getting dark circles under my eyes and a bloated stomach just like you described. I had a colonoscopy but everything came back clear. I'm planning on getting an endoscopy to see if it's H. pylori.

Hey guys, I have the same problem with a really loud stomach. I have Crohn's disease and I am in University and it is starting to affect my work because I feel myself focusing more on trying to quiet my stomach than on the lectures. It has gotten progressively worse, and the doctors keep telling me it's nothing.Although they say it may be a part of my crohn's disease, they give me no insight how to fix this. I was wondering if anyone would give me any ideas or suggestions as to what they have tried to quiet their stomachs down?

That horrible, loud gurgling and rumbling and growling! Mine came and went with Yoga. (I notice, belatedly, that one of Yoga's goals is to affect digestion by "wringing" the organs--so, well done, Yoga.) In the spirit of trying everything, try knocking off whatever bending, twisting, torqueing, and stretching of the midsection you may be doing in your own exercise routine.
