It could be a cyst
That's the same thing that happened to me but its so swollen on the right side I've had it for a few days now a lil burning can't sit or walk and I'm all achy:/ any suggestions I would love feedback this hurts:/
jock itch is a fungal infection, antibiotics would not help it at all, you need to use anti fungal treatments
yes i have the same thing right now! I'm totally freaked out what did you do!? what was it
Does it go away for you then?
It souds to me like you have a condition known as vulvadinya.
Its called a Bartholins Cyst, believed to be caused by an obstruction of fluid. With no symptoms you shoud only soak in warm water and otherwise leave it alone
Antibiotics do not work on fungal infections. Jock itch is a fungal infection. You could take antibiotics forever and it would not touch a fungus only a bacterial infection.

Because your problem is fungal and antibiotics are for bacteria. They are not the same thing. Your doctor is correct.
