I have had these cysts like most of you for most of my life, glad to see I am not alone. I have tried various things and have done searches every now and again on google to see if there are any more cures. One I came across I felt had alot of potential. There are two times in my life when I have never had problems with Acne AND cysts, but I didn't really put the treatment together until I read this post online. The treatment is heat. Both times in my life that I was cured I didn't have air conditioning and it was extremely hot. All the cysts and pimples cleared up within days and I believe it was from the heat. It must have been over 100 degree each time but I suspect the heat turns the puss/core into a liquid, then the body can use normal process like if you have fluid under the skin to remove it. At this time I have been using regular heating pads and they did seem to be going away on their own, I'd leave the heating pad on for 15 to 45 minute intervals and sometimes longer. One of the other methods is to fill a sock full of rice, new of course, and heat it up in the microwave for about 40 seconds and then put it in the region, trying to touch all of the scrotum surfaces to get them all warmed up. I found the best approach, if you are in a hurry like me, is to get them heated up for about an hour total, then go to work with a thumb tack. A thumb tack is nicer cause it's easier to handle, I like to poke it and push it in, then swirl it around a little, then pull out and squeeze. I took most of the 30 or so I had, small and big, after just a couple treatments. HEAT is the key, try it out. I think I will add applying hydrogen peroxide after I am done squeezing. Hope I helped someone with this post and to say you are not alone! Just keep as much heat as is tolerable in the area for the longest amount of time. Or if you live in a hot area you might try turning off the a/c for a couple days.

Very good post, brianbolt. This has definitely lowered my confidence with women, but I you're right about not fearing rejection. It's gonna happen, even if you have them or not.

Dreamless, no one really knows. The theme from posts in this board is noticing them in the mid teens to early twenties with various degrees of severity.

It's a shame at this time there are only crude methods of removal, not to mention it's only a temporary fix.

wow, same deal. Took about 20 mins to work up the courage to try removing them myself as you guys said. Used a razor blade, tweezers, rubbing alcohol. Much scarier than painful. 5 mins later...gone. Cheers

I personally had a similar case... it appeared to be a zit, but it did not go away for months; no mater how hard i tried to squeeze it. Finally, i got a safety pin and poked a small pin hole into the zit and squeezed it. It popped right away.

wow this is more common than i thought...and it sucks for all of us. a couple of days ago without reading anything on this topic, i decided that i was so fed up with this sh*t that i would perform some self surgery, same as some of these other guys in here.

there really should be more research done on this,. it affects us horribly, our sex lives suffer when they shouldnt have to.

i've had a pretty large cyst on my scrotum up on the top portion . it never hurt. it never did anything to really bother me..except be there. i've had little ones in random spots. but this one was hard and big. i could tell there was fluid in there tho. well...i started worrying that it was cancer, but then i realized it wasnt ON my testicle. it was near the surface of my scrotum. soo..after reading what others had done...i went..and sterilized a needle. got some tissue. and prepared myself mentally.
i spent a while trying to figure out why the heck i was sticking a needle into my manzone. but then once i got it thru the cyst it was all pretty much easy. it hurt pretty bad, but i began pulling up with the needle. i did this until i felt something moving. and finally the hole was big enough i saw something kinda oozing out...besides blood. I guess i had punctured the cyst so it was oozing. I squeezed all the c**p out of it. THen i saw something sticking out. It was the cyst..or what was left of it. I pulled it hard, and it didn't move. i pulled again even harder, and it all came out..it kinda had a weird stem or something. It started bleeding a lot but i went and poured peroxide on it, and have a bandage on it. I'm only 19

Hey everyone, I have been suffering from this issue for a long time. I started noticing them when I was in my late teens and watched them grow and grow. At 18 I went in the navy where I finally had them looked at by a doctor. They were supposed to remove them but never did. Plus they only wanted to remove 5 at a time and by then I had over 30. I knew that the procedure could not possibly be all that invasive to where they couldn't remove them all at once. So in the end the navy never removed any, I just kept getting the same line of BS, "they are not painful and not cancerous and will keep growing back so just live with them." That was BS, easy for a doctor to say when he doesn't have to live with these ugly things living on his goods. So this past summer I decided to take matters into my own hands. I was so sick of doctors minimizing the effects of these things on someone's sex life. I did some research on surgery and performed three procedures on myself to remove them. I won't like, it was disturbing at first guys (hands covered in blood cutting your manhood open with a scalpel) BUT it was worth it. In the end I removed over 40 cysts over the span of 3 procedures and 3 weeks. I would let the incisions heal from one procedure before I would start on the next. If you do it right they do not come back, although more new ones will grow. But once you have removed all of them you can keep up on them and remove them as they grow. The incisions heal fast and if you have a new one grow you can remove it quickly, the bleeding will stop pretty quick and you will be able to have sex etc in a couple days. I would remove 10 cysts in the evening and then bandage myself and go to work the next morning in a very physical job... So don't be scared guys. I know it sucks and it is SO embarrassing. I am sure most of you get BS answers from doctors who have no sympathy or they are willing to remove them but want to remove them 5 at a time over the span of a hundred years. Don't settle for that, life is too short. This issue plagued my life for so long and I am SO happy I did what I did. I would gladly offer anyone more detailed information about what I did and tips on how to perform the procedure on yourselves. I would give my email addy so people can ask for advice but I would get a flood of messages. So I will just check this site often and talk to people on a case by case basis.

So I had a few when I was younger and was weirded out, thought I had been abducted by aliens and had implants or something hahah...then I bought a damn razor to shave down there and it only exasserbated the situation creating 10s of them within a few weeks...after that I stopped shaving but its so horrible now Im pissed..

After reading this forum I felt slightly better and ATTEMPTED to try some of the home remedies/surgeries with no luck...if someone could post some more detailed information as to how they went about I would appreciate it...I tried a scalpel and needle and could bust the sacs but not remove the cyst wall. Im certain I would be a much happier person in life if this problem was eliminated....any help would be appreciated

I too continue to have these small cysts on the scrotum and rarely on the skin between the scrotum and the anus. I continue to get them at age 51 and have had them for 30 years or so. I too practice self surgery sterilizing with hydrogen peroxide the skin and the small sewing needle first. For me the cysts can not be squeezed out and rarely scraped off. With one hand I capture the cyst and with the other I shove the needle in slightly from an angle. After a few tries I am generally able to get the white seed like cysts out. Yes there is some blood which is why I perform this self surgery one at a time and let the skin heal. Sometimes I have used tweezers to pull them loose. They grow in one of the layers of the skin below the surface and for me have caused me to itch at them. Once out they do have an odor and can easily be smashed into some white stuff. I have found that if I eat lots of sweets that this tends to increase the incidence of the cysts. I am curious if others of you who have this condition take offense easily, hold on to past offenses and let it get under your skin as I do.

Hey guys,
I have skin colored bumps on my ball sack. Unfortunately my girlfriend finds them hideous, but knows that they don't mean anything. I REALLY want to get them removed. Does anyone know what the procedure is called or if it's recommended?>
