I am 38, and my periods have been progressively getting heavier and heavier and I also have this pain about 2 weeks before getting my period.  OBGYN has informed that it is part of peri-menapause and normal.  After consulting with a Nutrametrix practitioner I have decided to try supplements such as Isotonix Calcium, vitamin B-Complex,  OPC-3, and a product called 'Feminene' all sold by a company named 'Market America' if you'd like further info, reply and I will share it with you.  It seemed liked I was the only respondent in my age bracket with these symptoms...which I find interesting. Good Luck and God Bless.

Your sounds a a little like gallbladder stones. It happens in the right side and radiates to the back and sometimes shoulder. There can be a lot of pain that can be tolerable sometimes unless you eat or drink something that irritates. They say that grease fatty foods make it worse. With me it was more dairy products especially milk. Check with a doctor and mention your gallbladder.

If you haven't already got it checked by a gynocologist, you should. It sounds a lot like what my daughter experiences and it is endometriosis. Good luck and blessings!

Im sitting here at work with the same pains, screaming and crying,. they are in my ovaries and lower tummy and pelvis, my lower back and it may sound weird but it also feels like it shoots up thru my a**hole. im headed to the ER here soon to get it checked out. my mom had cysts, so it may be that, im not sure. this is probably the 3rd or 4th time ive had these pains. i cant walk, i cant stand straight, i cant sit straigh up, and i cant bend over. it takes the breath out of me whent the pain shoots through my body. & on top of everything i have this nasty cough right now from being sick and everytime i cough, the pain shoots everywhere.

I am 25 yrs old and I have had severe pain in the lower right side as well, but I have also had severe swelling. my stomach will be flat then go straight to swollen like I am pregnant. I have been dealing with this for almaost 5 yrs, and all the ER's and docs could say was a cyst rupture, on my right ovary everytime. I finally found a specialist that did a pelvic laperoscopy (Exploratory surgery) He found endometreosis in 3 different locations, removed it and I am on medication to stop my periods and I am still having the pain, so I'm not too sure what it could be now. My doc confirmed that I didn't have cyst ruptures cause I had no scar tissue around my ovary when he did surgery. They have never been able to see a cyst on my ovary, just fluid around it in a CT scan. Does anyone else have this problem or know what it could be?

I was the same way. I've had bad pains since I was 14. It would get so bad that I ended up in the emergency room every month with no answers. So I did my own research and I had all the symptoms of endometriosis. So I mentioned it to my doctor and she agreed. I had surgery about 2 months ago and the doctor found a lot of endometrial tissues on the out side of my uterus.

I've been having the lower right pain as well on n off for about 5 yrs. just started to get worse n constant since march of 2011. I was put onbirth control, which didn't help except stop my periods but pain was still there, also had trigger point injections which didn't help either! Also had many ct done, ultra sounds dn n had my tubes tied 5 yrs ago. I asked the doc to take my ovary out but they won't cause I'm to young n need my ovaries! The pain gets so bad that just moving a lil makes it hurt! I get very emotional at times! I hope I get it figured out soon! Good luck to all of you!
