I have had an abortion, ZERO regrets.

Your mom raised YOU, most likely she does not want to raise YOUR baby.

Can you blame her? SHE has a choice too, to not help you or support you through the pregnancy.

That is her right.

That is the problems with TEEN parents... They do not understand that once you become a MOM your life is over as you know it...

Your mom most likely does not want to have the stress of raising your baby.

TRUTHFULLY, you need to understand that this is YOUR BABY, and YOU are the one that will have raise it.

ABORTION is not some horrible procedure. They use suction to remove the pregnancy from your uterus.

ABORTION is not about your "baby" paying for anything. ABORTION is about YOU finishing high school, going to college...

Your mom will PAY if you have a baby and expect her to take care of it.


This is tough love, but it's honest.

25 year olds who have babies and college educations are stable, they do not NEED their parents support.. They have a loving caring husband, and that is all they need.

Ok, ya maybe your parents would get mad, but in the end the baby would have been the most joyous thing in your and your family's life. My cousin has had two kids before she graduated high school. She had the two kids out of wed lock but we still love those two girls because they are God's gift to us. If a young girl did get rapped and later got pregant by her rapist, well I am totally sorry about her traggic accident, but there is nothing like a child that is a miracle come from a bad situation. There is always something good that comes out of bad situations, if a child does well Praise the Lord. When that girl would look at that baby and see the glory and happiness that is brought to her she would realize that a great thing happened. Then if the family and the young girl does not want the child, then adoption is there. I know couples who cannot get pregnant, they want a child, but then there are all these people killing innocent babies, it breaks their hearts. There is always another answer than abortion. I disagree with abortion except when the mother is about to die physically from the birth of the child. I do not discriminate women who do abort babies, but I do not agree with their actions. I mean there is nothing like a child in your life, they bring joy, happiness, and everlasting love.

i got raped a month ago, i don't know what to do.. i just found out that i was pregnant... ive been having nightmares ever since that day and what if decide to raise the baby... what am i suppose to tell it when it gets older?.."your father was an unknown rapest?" keep it a secret...im so scared...

This is the first publis annocment I made about this. I had an abortion 5 and a half years ago. My boyfriend at the time was mentally and physically abusive towards me, and lived in for bars. He was barely a dad to a child he already had, by a diffrent girl. He cheated on me every chance he had. The first month and a half I did not know I was pregnant, I was drunk every night of the week, I was going to college, and waitressing full time, I had an abortion, I would have been an unfit mother, I probably already caused damage to the child. He wouldn't have been a dad for the baby or me, and his family, they wouldn't have helped either. I was stuck. My sister has a 2 year old he is great, and out of wed-lock. I think it is an individuals choice. I do not regret what I did. I am 27, and engaged. I hope to one day have a child, but still not yet. My fiancee has a 19 year old son, and he and his girlfriend, have a month old baby girl. I am blessed with Children around me, and when it is time for me, god will bless me with a child.

To All who are confused about the decision follow your heart! Trust me as I say this, if it weren't for my heart I don't know where I would be. Your heart will show you the way. Not your brain, trust your instincts, that all women, all ages have!

I'm sorry, but stop being so sensitive about someone saying 'your killing it' when you yourself are insensitive enough to prevent a life from developing. Yes, rape is a rare case; but then you have the option of adoption where a longing family can finally be complete. You have to face the fact you were irresponsible enough to get pregnant and live with the consequences. These days there are no excuses for becoming pregnant; everyone is well educated froma young age about how to prevent pregnancy. There are many options that arent to hard to hande in order to avoid an unwanted pregnancy: abstinance (also prevents STDs!), condoms and various forms of birth control that can fit anyones lifestyle and scheduele.
So suck it up buttercup, cause if you let yourself get pregnant its your fault, so dont prevent a life because of your mistakes.

I always believed it was wrong to have an abortion, and i never intended to change that. I fell pregnant about 8 months ago, and not a day goes by that i don't think of the fact that i should have given birth around about now, and how would my baby have looked. Whose eyes would he/she have had etc... i seem to come across more pregnant women now and it's almost like punishment for my actions. I feel absolutely terrible about what i had done. I have to add that i never wanted to do it, i was guilted into doing it as the facts were pretty justifiable, i am young, but am working and earn, well enough to have managed. All these thoughts become such a burden. In some cases i would say, do it, otherwise, if you can help it, trust me, don't!!! It's seems all dandy before it's done, but it is mothers instinct to find it a lot harder than you imagined after you go through with it. I never got the chance to tell my Mother which hurts a whole lot too. My Boyfriends mother knew that my Mother would help me through it, and to be honest, she was not at all prepared to allow the slightest bit of positive hope to let us keep it. My boyfriend and his Mother were quite the formidable team in this. Unknowingly of the pain i endured. I was promised the support i would need after such a deed, i have never heard a word about it since. I am still devastated. I go to the medi-clinic that gave me the news of my pregnancy, for all illnesses. All i see around me are those that knew, looking at me in a complete new way, a very, uncomfortable way. I went into the medi-clinic after the abortion (about a week after finding out that i was pregnant) as i was suffering from glandular fever during the short pregnancy, and then got a bladder infection, and the nurse that gave me the blood test smiled her biggest smile and asked how her little boy is keeping?! She was hoping that i would have a little boy. One can imagine how shallow you feel smiling back and responding with a lie, such as 'He is doing GREAT'. I felt ashamed! There is no going back once it's done, and never knowing if you're so damaged from it that you can never have a child again!!! EVER! I couldn't forgiven them if that is the case, for depriving me of the one thing i dream of now. But i am thankful for a second chance at the same time.

It isn't easy, but if you're truly ok with it, make sure first that you are REALLY okay with it!! You cannot undo it. Unfortunately.

Sorry if i am one of the morbid ones on this site. I guess it is for the various opinions to help you make the best decision for you.

i recently had a abortion my self and always said i wouldnt but then i got put into that postition it was different me n my boyfriend used protection and we was one of the unlucky people that it still happened to it takes alot of courege to go through with it i dont see how any one can judge someone else every person is different no1 is intitled to tell some one they are murdering someone it is not true just because u may have fallen pregnant and brought up your child it doesnt mean every one else should. how dare anybody judge us for doing what is right for us everyone is different.

I looked up the definition of alive on wiktionary, and it is "Having life, in opposition to dead", which an embryo or fetus is a "mass of cells" that are alive. If they weren't, they would not grow and develop into a person, they would never exist in the first place, am I right? If they weren't alive, people would cease to exist. Therefore, if you have a procedure that stops the cells from living, that is killing. The definition of killing is "To put to death; to extinguish life". You are also a "mass of cells", does that mean if someone stops you from living, they didn't kill you?

Wow, are you people in denial or what? I am not trying to tell anyone what decision to make. It really is up to each individual person to chose for themselves. Abortion is something I would never choose for myself (single mom of 3), but it is KILLING.

Im an 18 year old girl and have had two abortions in the past 2 years.
Alot of people would judge me for that and call me a 's***' or 'easy' but i have been with the same boy for 5 years, throughout it all.

I was safe and always used protection, however, the pill was having chemical effects on my body and thus stopped being a contraceptive.

I believe that abortions, have saved the lives of many women who experience the pressures of society and the pressures of making mistakes.

I knew that it was not the right time to bring a child into the world, it was not right for me to do it, i knew i could never give the child what it deserved.

The process was hard, particularly the second time.

But i do not regret a thing. I am moving on with my life and i will never forget it, nor will i ever regret it..

im only 13 but this is my view of abortions:

they are wrong, and should not be done unless you cannot take care of the baby.

i would rather have someone have an abortion then raise a child inproperly and the kid turn out to be on drugs or something.


but for these teens who get pregnant, and their parents are willing to help with the baby, then dont get an abortion just because your afraid of child birth, how would you feel if someone took your life away?

I am 18 years old

right now i am 5 weeks pregnant even tho i used birth control. I believe in pro-choice, but my choice would be to keep my baby. im not scared of child birth or anything like that, im just scared that i wont be able to provide for my baby. My parents say that its my choice, but they would not help me at all. I depend on them completely, and now i feel like i am being forced to get an unwanted abortion because of my own personal financial situation.

i know i am going to suffer, i already hate myself for making an appointment, but i have no other way out.

i had a abortion 10 weeks ago and im still bleeding which isnt normal.
when i first had the abortion and i was in so much pain it was un-believeable but i regret it soo much and wish i never did it. every night it gets too me and i just feel so down...please think carefully about it :-)
