I have a lump in the same exact spot.
About the size of a dime in diameter.
No redness of skin or evidence of an ingrown hair of any kind. No evidence of a black head either. It's just a big squishy lump. If it's a cyst how do I drain it my self I have nerve damage on my leg that goes from mid thigh to upper part of my hip so I won't feel a thing .

Ok so loose fitting clothes and non scented body wash helps? Also I get them under my armpits so what then
My suggestion for everyone with this lump problem is to apply baking soda on top of the lump twice a day for as long as it takes to go away. What will begin to happen the moment you put baking soda on it is that the fluid inside the lump starts to secrete. Overtime the lump gets smaller and smaller as it secretes more and more. Your boxers/briefs will get soaked so if you could sleep without any on, that would be better. And make sure you are cleaning that area thoroughly everyday, especially in the summer. And try to keep down there as dry as possible!
I am also 18 and have had those and they have gone away. I am 6'8 and 340lbs I had to use all my strength to pop it. Usually when you pop them blood will come out. You have to make sure that you shower after you pop it or at least ASAP because it will form again and again if you don't drain it and if you notice them when they are barley forming that's even better. Pop it. Whether it be with your hands Or a needle but you need to pop it b4 they get worse.

Me too same thing it comes and goes? Every tm i squeezed same reaction that you all have? Know kowing me by, kning my body . Am going to leave it be. Because its from inside. But cjange clothes taking frequently baths will help? If you try too bust !!!

In all probability it's a Cyst and not an uncommon one. I've had one on my back, my arm and one leg. Two I had removed. It's actually best not to force a Cyst to drain. Those commenting on puss, yellowish blood, etc., are describing symptoms of a Cyst. If a Cyst has not ruptured, a dermatologist can successfully remove a Cyst as one single lump and that is preferred as it removes it in its entirety and can be tested. Once ruptured, you could be dealing with out for years. The one on my back was removed using lasers, way too cool. Took 5 minutes and then minutes for stitches.
Pop that b***h and put some iodine on it. That's what I do, works every time. Use a sterilized pin.

Just noticed the same thing thought it was apart of the bone that's located right there but I touched the other side and although there is a bone on my left side there it isn't a lump like the right side side.It isn't painful but it is stiff and hard can't even squeeze with my fingers.I'm a 28 y/o "classified" as black male.
