I've been told by a doctor that cheek/mouth peeling is due to an allergic reaction to the toothpaste one is using
Update: It was candida albicans.
Hi, I've been reading your posts and the most common mention is the poisonous/harmful toothpaste, I use a toothpaste and mouthwash that is whitening but it's safe! Worth trying this before you put any more harmful ingredients into your mouth. The mouthrinse can really help with any infections also. Go to the Modere website and you can use my code 826721 which will give you a ten dollar credit. Let me know how you go. Sharon
It's your toothpaste! Especially Crest Pro Health and whitening toothpastes
Could be dry mouth, I had it. There is boitene, mouth wash and toothpaste 2 to 3 times a day for a couple of months it went away.
hey everyone i searched what caused my skin on my gums to peel as soon as it happened to me for the 2nd time, and this site came up with everyone here wondering, so just my input. first time it happened to me was when i ate chips, this time which is the second time is when i added heinz canned bbq beans. i never really eat unhealthy, i don't eat msg, no gmo as far as i know, no processed meats and foods, no canned foods, i don't even eat out for the fear of unhealthy and poor quality ingredients, i don't eat pizza, no burgers no fries, NOTHING. i eat super duper healthy, all at home cooking with all healthy ingredients. so only time my skin's ever peel'd was from chips and a can of heinz bbq beans.
having the same thing happen after gargling apple cider vinegar. did you ever figure it out?
Its tooth whiting paste
Same here and using crest 3D. Mouth peeling, no pain, but happens so often it’s crazy. Never thought to look this up until now, and never thought about it being my toothpaste. Hmmmm, but after so many different things I’ve read, I’m changing my toothpaste. It seems that this may have started around the time I switched to this toothpaste. Idk. I’m going to give it a try. Thanks.
change the toothpaste and u will notice the change
Same here. Brushed with ACV and Baking soda .clean teeth, gums, old skin coming off.lips peeled first a couple weeks before.
Skin sloughing off is a a symptom of celiac. I have celiac and this is the first symptom I get when I accidentally eat gluten. Early on before my diagnoses, doctors were dismayed when I asked them about the sloughing off of tissue in my mouth.
Get tested before you go off gluten. Otherwise the test won’t be accurate.
