I have had one white spot on my tonsil for about a month. Its only about 3 mm amd doesnt hurt. Could oral cancer be an issue seeing how i smoke?

i have this too and it is highly irritating... but from what i can gather, its caused by blockage of a salivary gland.. and isnt anything to worry about... and apparently there can be a surgical process done to permanently remove this, however it is painful... truthfully i think i'd rather not go through the pain of the procedure if the actual spot causes no harm...
I can't eat sugar or honey without getting tonsilitis. I just stopped eating any and try to eat more vegetables.

Yours sounds like you had thrush in your mouth ... sort of like Yeast !

Yes but with Tonsilitus or strep you have fever and pain.

I used a spoon to take out. The pus was very small from outside. But when I pushed it out it was really big. I immediately flushed it coz I was disgusted by it.

I went to the doctors (i’m on my year abroad in Spain) because I thought it was strep throat and I read viruses go away by themselves! The spots began to go away so I just left them and they did, I only gargled salt water one time! I was so pleased but then they came back & I thought i would need antibiotics but no... the doc said it was trapped food & bacteria has formed (white spots) so he said to get this oral antisceptic which is what they prepare the skin with before operating! It tastes absolutely gross but hopefully it works!!
