Why a capillary tube? Why not just a Q-tip?
Timbo,
How is your progress? All is good with me. I still have a few small spots but it's not bothering me. I haven't had any come back.

HI AngioKNoMo - Always appreciate hearing from you.
I've taken a break from treatments for about 3 weeks. Wanted to get the full effect of what's what down there. It appears that my original treatments are still holding. Nothing coming back, treated areas are still clear. I'm pleased but in my case I've still a ways to go. Some spots, that are kind of raised take a few trys before they start to go away. So I 'm planning to do a treatment next week. Try to time what I do cause I still want to get laid, and want to be ready. lol.
Glad to hear that your spots haven't come back. I hope mine that I treated are gone for good too! Are you still using the same method ?

Timbo,
Always happy to hear of your progress. You seem very in tune with your body and take a conservative route which is good. I am ready to hear about your sexual exploits :-). Once the large keratoma's are gone it will change your outlook. I am the same. No worries and am less self concious of the few small keratoma's left. I am just starting to date again. I'll keep you posted. Be well!

Hi AngioKNoMo - Awesome reply :-)
I did a treatment yesterday. A bit more bleeding this time but I think it was worth the gore. I cleansed very well (alcohol / tree tea) and hope that will be the final go for a while. There are some small spots left but not very noticeable, and nothing that I would be too self conscience about. But enough of that.
I'm feeling so much better about my self and looking forward to a bit of safe fun!
Best to you buddy

how long did u use it before you saw results?
I have had the angio for about 7 years, but have just kind of ignored it. I have gotten more and more annoyed by the situation and decided to something about it. I'm in my late twenties.
Finally I got the courage and time to perform the soldering iron procedure.
Found a nice precision iron online (small usb style), got rubing alcohol and lidocaine.
1st procedure: shower, put lidocaine on balls, wait. A lot of bleeding this time, especially from the bigger angios. Still some pain in spite of the lidocaine.
2nd procedure: This time I decided to not put lidocaine on. Didn't feel much difference.
I also switched location, so I could kind of lie down in the couch and get daylight.
Made a big difference. Sitting or standing up it can be difficult to get a good angle, since the gravity is pulling the penis and balls down. In the couch the balls were more 'out of the way' making the procedure easier. I also felt the sunlight helped.
Result: This time no bleeding, and I got some good popping sounds. Actually the first few pops are slightly scary – they are that loud and sudden. Like a small bomb exploding in your crotch! But they are less painful than you'd think.
Getting the big ones at a slight angle definitely helps avoiding bleeding.
I have a feeling I will have to do some of the big ones again. Sometimes when being too careful they just get a little bit scorched. But it's a fine line, because if they start bleeding they go on for a while.
It's a little scary to perform the procedure, so I would advise that you have good time, peace and a calm state of mind. Also the next day you might feel some small stings down there, so it's preferable if you can stay in and not walk a lot.
If you have many like me, I would also advise not to try and take them all at the same time. After a while it gets confusing to see which ones are burnt and not.
Looking forward to follow the healing process, good luck, guys.

Want to report here that salycyclic acid 11% wart cream definitely works, but burns the like crazy and will make your ball skin peel, literally when it peels your "spots" will frequently be peeled off too, plus it seems to reduce the colour instantly. Thought I'd give it a go whilst waiting for cauterizer to arrive, reckon 2% salycylic acid spot wash will be a gentler (but slower and less painful) experience. Good luck all.
Recently discovered these spots. While they may be benign, I like most here wanted them gone. I got an actual diagnosis from a dermatologist who discouraged any treatment. I tried coconut oil for twice daily for two weeks after reading it had been successful. Unfortunately no success for me. After visiting two urologists, I found a doctor who quickly scheduled a cauterization treatment. He said any scarring would be only minimally noticeable. The painless procedure took about 20 minutes. Stabbed over in two days which was mildly uncomfortable but so far it looks great and seems to have healed well. Two weeks out so still too early to determine if there will be any discoloration.
The "stabbed over" was "scabbed over".
You have a sharp Urologist. Congratulations! Mine referred me to the dermatologist who would only do expensive procedures. Did you have bleeding during the procedures? If so how did your Urologist deal with it?
I agree AngioNoMo. I actually contacted five doctors and saw four of them about removing the 'keratomas. One GP, two dermatologists and two urologist. Four out of the five did not have means to treat the spots and recommended leaving them alone. One dermatologist stated doing nothing was preferable to treatment. I begin to think I may be stuck with the spots. This was not an optimal solution.
Luckily the last urologist I saw made the removal treatment sound easy and suggested an almost unnoticeable outcome. There was minimal bleeding which the doctor wiped away with gauze. Upon completion he attacked a few bandaides. (honestly that was the most uncomfortable part of the whole treatment). The doctor said no after care would be needed. There was some blood spots visable on the bandaides. I removed the bandaides while showering the next morning. No more bleeding.
I am still surprised it took a while to find a doctor with experience in treating angiokeratomas. Given that all four doctors I saw had experience diagnosing the condition.
I would recommend this doctor to anyone. He made the treatment seem easy and routine.

I should add there is some amount of tenderness during normal readjustment of the jewels. It is no more than one would expect after cauterizing skin and I am sure it will dissipate with time.
Omg, I've had this for maybe 5 years and only in my late 20s.
Every doctor i went to have said they have no idea what it is and has never seen this condition before so they just refer me to a dermatologist, but i didn't want to pay their consultation fee just to be told it's angiokeratoma.
over the years, It's gotten so bad there are so many now. I really hope this can help as this is affecting me greatly.
I would like to give the soldering iron method a try, would something like mini soldering iron be sufficient or would i need something with a bit more power?
