I can remember that 2 weeks before my stupid sounds (at 15) started I chewed lots of gum . When I was hungry, becouse of nothing to do and just after food . I knew that it will turn out somehow bad for me but like this.. First see if you can ever notice these secretions in your throat like me (as this maybe only me who has this problem). these are a little transparent most of the time and are thicker than saliva and are originated at the back of the throat.
I have found medical sites that describe these as normal and not harmful but my experience proves otherwise.

i told my parents as well, and they kept telling me i wasn't eating enough. i was eating what i'd eaten before it started. they told me it was anxiety, antisipation for lunch, ect.
it didnt stop until summer. i'd been out of school and i didnt have to think about it. when the new year started i was still really worried it'd start again, but it didn't. if it ever happened again, it wasn't nearly as bad as the previous year.
it's awful having that issue, i know. and it makes you feel super crappy and like you're super alone. please just know that you can overcome it. try taking a break from the public for awhile. whether that's summer or just leaving all public intraction to your parents. get to the point where you dont really think about it anymore and try it again. go back into school or semi-quiet areas.
