Try cutting out gluten. I bet it stops - it did for me. And then re-introduce it - hello weird bottom noises again. It's tough to cut it out, but it really works.

I FOUND THE ANSWER TO THIS!
I understand each and everyone of you. Its been 8 years that ive been suffering from this problem. i didnt graduate high school because of this problem. I avoid quiet rooms as much as possible. I sit as far back and aaway from people.
Enough..Here is the answer. the growling is caused by anxiety and maybe there are certain foods that makes this problem worse like lactose.
I did an expiriment. I sat in a quiet room with my family members and friends to show them my real problem. We were there for about 2 hours and no noises. I was so disappointed. So the same day i went to a library and sat in between random people and told myself i couldnt get up for 30 minutes. And right away the noises started. which means it was all in my head. And once the 30 min were over i went and sat far away from people for another 30 min and the noises went away instantly. So i decided to take a class in college and i had the option to drop out and never step foot in a quiet room.. Now its been 1 1/2 year full time student and my problem is 70% controlled . Its hard to controlled anxiety but here i am fighting! Trust me people its all anxiety! My butt still makes noises and so does my stomach but i just step out of class and collect myself and go back into class cuz i wont let this stop me from my social life. Enough is enough! I have a test mext week . And this class is so quiet you can hear a feather hit the floor. Im so scared but theres no turning back!

Have you guys been on a low sodium (salt) diet for a while to "prevent heart and arteries" disease? have you avoided salt for "its negative effects" as doctors suggest? please respond.

I recomend you do a bowel movement before you take a shower to go to school or something. It might help.

I don't know if this would help but I experienced the same things as you. For me it started in the eight grade and lasted all throughout high school. I was like you and went to doctors and all that withe they would tell me they cant find anything. When I got to college I realized it was what I was eating. I used to eat oatmeal every single day for years straight and when I finally cut it out of my diet all my problems immediately stopped. I think it was the gluten in the oatmeal so look at what you're eating and slowly cut some stuff out because what you're eating may have gluten in it and that could be the problem.

I suffered the same problems in my high school days. However, I have been able to control this issue my making some lifestyle changes. Try these steps that made the difference for me:
1. Stop drinking carbonated drinks and/or milk.
2. Do the "yoga for flatulance" videos on youtube, and try to do it at least thrice a week in the morning on an empty stomach( the workout lasts around just 5 minutes). This is really effective.
3. Never have sex(or masturbate) twice in one day. yup.. I know its going to be hard.
4. Add some fiber rich foods to your diet.
5. Try not to hold in burps. I know its embarrassing to burp in public. However, its way less embarrassing than the growling sounds.
Even doing just two of these steps will improve your condition. Let me know how this works out.

Hello, I have THIS EXACT SAME PROBLEM!!!!!!!! and I went on here looking for answers, it has happend to me ever since I was in grade 10 but the only thing that has helped me is anxiety medication. Mine comes when I am stressed out or anxious, if i'm happy or calm it isn't there. It also depends on how anxious I am though, If i take my anxiety medication and I am really anxious that day it will make those noises. I honestly suggest to you to getting rid of your problems is to see them as light hearted. Say if you did fart (which you aren't, so lucky I have extreme gas along with this problem!) you need to act light hearted about it because nobody minds if you do or if your stomach makes funny noises, they actually find it kinda silly and funny. :P So just let people know your stomach does it and be like "I have no idea why it does this, it just does." and you will also find a lot more people have this problem than you think, on a smaller scale, but I have told multiple friends about my problem and they have it to! so they understand and know others have it too. Another thing that really helped me. since mine had to do with anxiety, is as I got older I started to not be as shy and care less about what other people think and from that the noises started happening less often and only do sometimes now. :P Some day out of nowhere you just start to care less and I don't know why, you just do and I know this isn't much help and it's extremely hard to get rid of these problems but this is what has helped me and i'm still looking for answers to it and if I find anymore I will post it to you! It feels really good to find someone else with the same problem as me though cause you really do feel alone even though you aren't. If we were in the same class this would probably be cool. :P

what helped me with this problem was anxiety medication ro the right anxiety medication and as I got older I started to see my class as more lighthearted and I started to care less about the stomach problems and this made them go away. If you have a stomach problem or something all you have to say is "Oh, thats my stomach , sorry :P sometimes it makes funny noises." and people will understand and they will probably laugh with you because people find stuff like that silly. Also if you want something to help with gas and your stomach, try the pills you get at the drugstore that take away gas called gasex. It works REALLY well but you have to be careful the days you take it. Sometimes it can backlash and do the opposite and give you dirhea. It never did this to me and I took it for months but I read about it one day and was like OMG! good thing my body reacted well with it. :Pbut it will take away all your gas, and alot of the stomach noises. I say try that on days you feel like you need it. Besides that these problems will eventually go away with age because as you get older somehow you start to care less.
