I haven't been on the pill, so I don't think that's a factor.

I am 36, I can't believe so many women are having the same problem. I use birth controls; however, the pains are still here. I hurt and I have also been to the doctor to get a vaginal ultrasound. Nothing showing on the ultrasound. What is this awful pain and now my cycle is incredibly heavy.

Thank you SO much for posting this. I have been putting off going to the doctor for over a year because in the past the only solution was to get on the pill to stop my cycle. I am going to give going vegan a try. I would love some insight from you on the alternatives to foods. I'm taking pills for stomach pain during my period. Is it good for health and will I have side effects?

Interesting! I went gluten free for a month and my horrible cramps, stabbing stomach pain and intense stomach cramping disappeared! I experimented with gluten off and on the next 5 months and gluten absolutely makes my cramps and period worse. I’ve been gluten free for over 5 years now. It is not worth the pain and discomfort! I encourage everyone to give up gluten and/or dairy for one month and see if it helps.
