It has had the oppositte effect on me. I have a lot of difficulty ejaculating after smoking pot. I am a daily user and have been cutting down a lot the last week, which has made it worse.
If I were to use basic logic myself, without any scientific evidence backing me up here. I do believe, that it has something to do with our body detoxifying (THC) through our urine. That said, it's quite possible it can numb/paralyze our penis muscles down there.
Personally I've been on and off weed multiple times, while experiencing the very same thing. Within approximately month of no smoking, and with some wanking excerises, I'm actually back to being confident and functional again. Atleast this is my personal opinion, and it seems rather logical, once you see it from this perspective.
Do remember that if you really want to improve, you can speed up the process of removing THC by 70% with a healthy lifestyle and a correct diet. Knuckle up.
- On a sidenote. If you ejaculate prematurely, ask your girl if she likes fingering, fisting, being licked, whatever the f**k. Chances are she wont care so much if you make her orgasm otherwise.

I agree with the one post, not only does it help you relax, but it must have something to do with our selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors or SSRIs, and what the THC does to them. Because I'm such an extreme occasional smoker, I'll don't even know if sativa or indica would work better – my guess is one will work better than the other, but I have no idea. And agreed, for those heavy users who have quit, I've had success with a smaller dose of cannabis, usually from a vape, and yes, approx. 30 min before my wife and I "get it on".
So my advice for you, would be to stay clean, stay off any regular doses from your habit, get your tolerance for cannabis way, way down (like mine) and then, once it's not so much a part of your everyday life, introduce a small amount of weed (if you find you're still suffering from PE) Much of the time, once you overcome it, you won't need cannabis anyways, but from time to time, PE comes back, and it's nice to know you have a solution.
As cannabis is now becoming legalized in Canada, I've decided I'm taking it upon myself to find what strain will work the best with a minimal dose and minimal side effects.

Hey guys, I'm a bit late to comment on this thread but after overcoming this problem i just felt i had to share my thoughts and possible solutions on the matter. First of all I'll start of by saying that i smoked pot pretty heavily for around a year (I'm talking maybe 3-4 times on a slow day when it was at its peak) and i masturbated a handful of times when i was high also. At the beginning it felt amazing and i could go forever when i was high but then i stopped and decided to go sober. Whilst masturbating even the slightest tug felt super sensitive and i struggled to hold in my cum. It is important to try and not let this affect you mentally (as hard as that may sound). I first tried to shift my thoughts elsewhere and started focusing on the positives of life and how lucky i am compared to a million other people who are in worst positions and got bigger problems in their lives. Along with this i refrained from any kind of sexual activity for as long as i could (first time i did this i only went a week before i felt the urge to masturbate and give into my temptations). Following on from this i read an article that said that it takes a long time for heavy weed smokers to get the marijuana out their systems, so i just decided that maybe all i needed was a little more time so again i refrained myself from any sexual activity. I also did some research and found that doing kegal exercise can help with premature ejaculation. In order to locate your kegal muscle, simply try to stop the flow of your piss and concentrate on what muscle is used for you to do this (it is located somewhere between your ball sacks and anus). After figuring this out, i would simply try to squeeze and hold the muscle for a few seconds (at first you may not feel like anything is happening but simply try and not use any other muscle in your body and just relax whilst focusing on this specific area) also i helps to do this lying down. Gradually i built up the seconds i held it with a couple seconds rest periods in between. Finally after a little more than a week after i stopped sexual activity i decided to try and masturbate again. I played a random youtube video as i watched porn so mentally i wasn't just thinking about busting a nut and could distract myself if i felt the urge. I tried to keep the mindset that every thing gets better in time and that this was just a phase that my penis was going through. Finally whilst i started masturbating i simply flexed the kegal muscle that i had been exercising and started jerking off very slowly. After going a full minute i started gaining more confidence and simply kept going whilst trying to edge my self (stopping right before orgasm and waiting a bit before going again) because i heard this helps build up stamina. During this wank sesh i felt i was in much more control over my penis and lasted as long as i wanted; so i came to the conclusion that keeping a positive mindset and practicing your kegal exercises and implementing it whilst doing your thing helps to keep your control. p.s. During this period of time that i refrained from sexual activity i also tried to lead a better life i.e. eating healthier and eating on time and sleeping and waking on time and so on and so on. It is important to understand that this process may take longer or shorter for different individuals but with time and a few adjustments i believe it should be possible to overcome this.
