Hey glad yto hear your coming off this BS. That's exactly what it is. You think your doing yourself a favor by not taking heroin but in the long run you can't be on subs forever. Anyway I'm on day 4 off withdrawals and it's been bad but still it's doable. I came off 2 mg/day and I haven't slept at all since stopping. But I keep telling myself it's worth it in the long run!!!! I have taken multivitamins, b12, NAC, and multiple cleansing capsules but idk if it has helped. Like I said the sleep has been by far the worst, but the RLS is bad too. You can do it though, 7-10 days off sh*t for a clean sober free from drugs life. COUNT ME IN!!!! hope your doing good and stay positive and strong!
Caffeine is probably the worst thing you could ingest while withdrawing on any opioid or suboxone/methadone. It will make your stomach hurt worse, add to the anxiety, restless leg syndrome, jitters, and give you a worse case of the sh**s. Don't listen to this!
Elimdrol is supposedly good and has a $ back guarantee
I have heard that wild lettuce (bitter in taste) can help with withdrawal, though my fiance hasn't tried it yet. Tomorrow...It is available at natural stores in an extract form (and also tea), and is helpful for "insomnia and muscular arthritis."
I want everyone to search ayahuasca for long-term help and getting off of opiates. There are options in the US and you need to know about them, so you can help change laws for yourself and other addicts. I have not had a Suboxone addiction, but I am in school for it. My fiance is tapering off real fast (24 days) from 2 per day. He is down to pieces and we will be taking part in an ayahuasca ceremony on Friday and Saturday. So, no, I'm not a doctor nor have I dealt with addiction for myself. But I'm almost finished with my MS in addiction counseling and am very interested in natural remedies for anything. I make no promises, but research this and other related topics regularly. Good luck, you can so do it!
