I have the same sysmtoms.. I have been sick for the last week.. I get an upset stomach, I eat then I feel better.. I feel hungry here and there.. Been to the ER room, took Strep test, Preg test, had fluids.. everything came back negitive.. I was told I was the common cold and I caught a stomach virus, which has been going around latly.. Be the way I would love to take that person who said it was HIV and throw him a closet.
I agree with alll of the people who pointed out the id**t that says HIV. By the sounds of your symptoms you have a throat infection with lymph nodes swollen it sounds viral. It could be mono or a strep throat. Take some strepsils and if swelling decreases it was a bacterial infection if swelling persists it is suggestive of mono and a Dr can prescribe u some antibiotics and do a monospot to confirm this.
Hope this helps. Take care. J

wow HIV? thats amazing that you came up with that diagnosis with such few symptoms. ridiculous. maybe that person is not aware of all the symptoms of HIV? ok well i have the exact same symptoms as you and i can tell you i do not have HIV. I was actually recently tested so there's your proof if you even needed it...more times than not sore throat illnesses are viral and if thats the case it just needs to run it's course. if you just arent feeling better even with pain killers you should see a doc and get a real diagnosis though. if you fever gets really high you should see a doctor. if symptoms worsen, see a doctor. if you have insurance you should see one anyways. also if your neck is stiff you should see a doctor. google the symptoms for all the illnesses people have mentioned here and you should be able to sort of pin point what you have. or at least get close.
i didnt look to see how old this post is but i had to reply to the hiv comment. my goodness, please dont ever become a doctor wouldnt matter anyway with that attitude you would get your license taken away :-D

if you have morning sickness and/or havent started your period maybe you are pregnant but unlikely. just because it happens to one person doesnt make it a symptom of pregnancy. some people have no symptoms everybody's different. every pregnancy is different
sounds like an infection. you should see the doc and i bet you'll get antibiotics. maybe an upper respiratory infection?? i knew a guy that had that and he coughed up some nasty stuff.
100.2 in adults is not a fever. but almost. 100.4 is a fever. if they gave you sudafed maybe they thought it was allergies. take some benadryl maybe that will work better for you. just do not take it within 24 hrs of taking the sudafed. sudafed quickens your heart rate, benadryl slows it. the 2 combined is bad for your heart.
ive had the same thing and im an 11 year old female
OK OK so coming right out the door with HIV may have been a bit much; however, HIV can present with a large number of symptoms. Probably not was this is but it never hurts to get tested and honestly if you are sexually active (whether you use protection or not and even if you are in a "committed" relationship) you should get tested AT LEAST once a year. I was married and ONLY with him for over 6 years then one day I caught him screwing around with another MAN. I have always gotten tested regularly since I became sexually active (yes even after I got married) and test negative for HIV as well as other STDs; however, after finding out my ex was being gay behind my back I started and continue to get tested every 6 months. As for the gay ex - well come to find out 9 years after our divorce he tested positive for HIV. I also make a habit of requiring any sexual partner of mine to get tested and show me documentation of it before we take that step and I still ALWAYS USE PROTECTION!
im a 23 year old male with the same symptoms, does that mean im pregnant too? oh dear lord! i knew i should have used protection
on a more serious note, it sounds like you have strep throat / tonsillitis. nothing major, i would suggest you see a doctor when you have the time to

lol then i guess we all have HIV....
Did you know HIV doesn't have to show up in a test for years? Once HIV decides to destroy your cells, thats when you know. You probably don't have HIV :-) , buuuuuut your friend might.
Okay, first of I do have HIV - they consider me in the Upper 5% of all people with HIV and am currently on a trial vaccine to become HIV negative. With all that said, I and everyone I know did not ever have any of those symptoms. How completely redict. Ironically, I have never had any incidence with HIV - I take one pill a day and have been undetectable since I started back in '98 so to the uneducated person that wrote that note- YOU ARE WRONG AND SHOULDN'T DIAGNOSE IF YOU DON'T KONW WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
I am pregnant, I have the same symptoms, but I think I just have a cold, or pharyngitis... totally unrelated to pregnancy. I do think however, that with hormone fluctuations during pregnancy, one's immune system could be a bit compromised, allowing an infection to occur, whereas otherwise your body would be able to fight it off.
